Lay Over 1.5 Tampines

Looks like for footy Smarkets is next best, Matchbook prices seem decent but games are limited to just the bigger leagues by looks of it which I guess as you scale up isn't the end of the world. None are quite as strong as Betfair in terms of liquidity. I need to ask this on horses next!
-
@Andrew-Dobinson probably be in line with horse racing, with an optional discounted small add on fee for current members like we did with the horses, no plans to change platinum price as far as I am aware. Will discuss with the lads at our meeting next week. Your membership will not rise if you don't want the add on, we never raise existing membership fees for current subscribers. Only way that could happen is if someone cancelled and rejoined but they would see the rejoin price anyway when they signed back up.
-
@Andrew-Dobinson Don't give him ideas!
-
Hi @Martin, when the footy back testing is ready will the subscription fee go up? If so will the current members get a discount?
-
@Akiva-Anderson Just missed it, was cheching IP stats when the goal went in! Well played again mate

@Martin Defo agree - Smarkets customer service is spot on from the interaction I have had from them. I am guessing that they also don't have top rate commission for huge earners like Betfair?
Be good to see if it's possible to remove that issue by trading under the limit on Betfair and using the other exchanges to reduce the charge!
-
@Martin I find the leagues options very thin for football. And that's not great considering Betfair is also pretty crap for some leagues availability! I think Smarkets is my second go to of the exchanges.
Would you or anyone else recommend any other any other exchanges?
Cheers!

For the incoming season I’ll be continuing with my Over 1.5 goals and SHG strategies.
I’ll be paper trading for the full season Odds on Home team wins. Will also be trialling an Under 3.5 goals strategy.

@Akiva-Anderson I always have problems in stadiums
Yeah connections are normally poor, but the Oval isn’t really a covered stadium and it’s right beside Belfast City Airport. Connection is normally great

Anyone trade on Matchbook, what's the liquidity like on the footy? I looked at some Horses and Baseball on there yesterday and was surprised to see that the odds were actually decent (infact the World Series market has about 20x as matched on it strangely!)

Plenty of football on tonight. I'll be at the Glentoran v Gzira United match. It is 2-2 from the 1st leag with all to play for.
Glens played well in the first leg. It was Glentoran's first competitive match of the season. The temperature was 32 degrees. A good result for us.
Hopefully we can do the business tonight.
Will go for Over 1.5 goals in this match and depending on the score will probably go for a SHG too
Will go for a SHG. Not many clear cut chances. Very cagey. We’ve missed a penalty. Didn’t even hit the target. We missed a penalty in the 1st leg too
Beat 14-13 on penalties.
Anyway, at least the SHG came in and the Over 1.5 goals. Equaliser was scored in the 13th minute of injury time
