A perfect example of how watching the match helps. Odds for a SHG was 1.45 at HT. Quality was / is really poor from oth sides, but there was lots of space, evn though the chances weren't really there.

I prefer space rather than tempo if I'm honest

@Akiva-Anderson my Mother is from Cork and lives just outside Bantry. I visit every year and do a bit of travelling about. We spent a couple of days in Co Antrim last year, it certainly is beautiful.

What date? You should try the North Coast too. The scenery is superb. If you like playing golf you should try Royal Portrush.

NI is small, but packed with great hospitality and great people too (despite us killing each other for years).

Shalom Trevor, Toda rabah! I prefer to back these days. Lowest I'll take is 1.22. It isn't much, but it all adds up. Should be worth around 8 points a month

I guess it's just a matter of degree really but, psychologically, a 1pt stop loss makes a reverse less painful, even if the upside is proportionately less rewarding (though a win is a win, after all). And I've found it's easy to fool myself into seeing only the 1% lay stake as opposed to the potential 5% or 6% I'm risking, which isn't going to help bankroll management. I did devise an excel formula whereby the lay bet would be adjusted to risk a predetermined bankroll % - basically an infinitely variable Maria - but I could never work out how many points I was up or down! Simpler, and safer, just to back, at least until I gain more experience.

Thanks for sharing your selections. Did you base your filters on the BTC SHG preset(s) or start from scratch?
