Don’t know if anyone saw this speech from Roger Federer a few weeks back but only just seen it today. Posting link below because it’s very relatable to trading imo.

@Simon-Bates respect….. you keep winning

@GREGORIOS-KARASHIALIS @Ryan I've reread my post, I was correct in letting the trade go because my rules are set and forget, all my strategies are due to having limited time, I only checked on this trade yesterday because of the high profit on it, I didn't check the other 7 trades I'd done I just let them go all the way, I think cos I checked during the trade I realised how much profit I could have won, lesson learnt not to check my trades until after they've completed.

@Simon-Bates hello my friend….. you know more about this than I do ….. but once you have made just over 30% I would trade out?
Would you have took that risk if you had £500
Riding on it?There’s thousand of trades ….. 3 x good trades brings you in 90% ?
What else do you want?
But I like the way you trade….. that’s a big shout for under 0.5

@Simon-Bates I think you were right sticking to the rules of the strategy in this instance, because that's what the data you have collected states to do...
People might argue that you could have taken the profit but then if you did that on all your trades but you will be surprised how those 34p bits add up.
It's also 34p on this trade it might be £1 less on the next one, over the course of 500 trades? It's a bit and when stakes increase it really adds up.
BUT this is why I am all over this because I used to make a note of this, because it's an observation of whats happening, this is pretty much an isolated incident but what if it carries on? Well they you should take the profit - but without both the how you felt data and the raw number data you will never be able to go back and check.
I know traders that have done this with their strategies thought that they should take the trade out when it's on offer, they've not documented it then they've kidded themselves into thinking its the right thing to do in future and fell foul many times.

I've posted before when I've won a trade and explained why i chose to trade it, so today I'm posting to show my losing trades.
Today I layed Baladiyyat Al Mehalla v AL Masry under 0.5 HT goals for a maximum £5 liability for a £10.88 profit, my strategy is a set and forget, coming towards the end of the first half I was offered £10.54 cashout, as much as it pains me now, I was determined to stick to my set and forget strategy rules, in the 2nd minute of 3 minutes of injury time in the 1st half, Al Masry scored a penalty, losing my trade, was I right or wrong in this situation, sticking to my rules or not cashing out for 34p short of the full profit?
My 2nd losing trade today was MyPa v NJS, the stats on Bet365 suggested there was going to be a 2nd goal in the game.
As with my last trade, a penalty was awarded in the last minute of this game which was missed, losing my trade.Everybody likes to post winning trades but I think it's good to post losing trades too, I was done by 2 late penalties today, some days are good trading days, some days are just pure unlucky.

@Andy-Donnelly I'm with you there other than it needs to be Spain as they're my sweepstake team

Got to love a win on penalties! England better but still really poor! Feel like this tournament is destined for an England v France final! Both been dire but somehow finding a way to win!
Don’t mean to be Uber negative about England tho, end of the day great to be in the semis and will take winning a tournament over playing well!

@Simon-Bates t***s

This game came up on my filter selections today, between them they've played 42 games, only scored 28 and conceded 24, 70% chance of a HT 0-0.
