hello all. I'm looking to use the football ratings a bit more forensically than I have up to now and I'm looking for clarification on the home and away massey defensive ratings. They are generally negative numbers and the glossary states that "the higher the figure, the better their defense." does this mean that for example a score of -75 is better or worse than -25? I realise this seems a really basic and potentially embarrassing question but a 'high number' in negative terms can be interpreted either way and I can't work it out

Northern Irish Premiership - Overpriced match of the week...
19:45 - Linfield v Glentoran
Linfield are 1.85 to win. I feel Linfield should be around 1.50. Glentoran (My team) don't score many goals - we have a creativity problem. Linfield are on form. This is a derby match, but even our supporters are fearing the worst because we haven't sold many tickets and we are not an entertaining side this season. Our Manager is under pressure too. Hopefully he'll get sacked tonight

@Akiva-Anderson You know the Northern Irish league better than most.
Larne v Crusaders coming up on my O1.5 filter tonight. Larne 100% home games have had 2 or more goals so far this season and all of Crusaders games have the same.
Any reason for odds of 1.29? Feels like decent value on the surface
I'm expecting a half decent game there. Crusaders are unpredictable at the moment. Good price though

@Craig-vaulks Me too. The mighty Tractor Boys have flourished under McKenna and new American owners. Long may it continue. My worry is that teams will be waving big cheques in his face to tempt elsewhere.

@Martin been impressed how well ipswich have done so far. Sunderland didn't get off to the best of starts but jack clarke has been very impressive will surprised if some prem bids don't come in for him. Looking like leicester will be the team to catch this season.

Kieran McKenna to make a triumphant return to United
