That really must be it for now as I don't want to undo all the good work from last year.

Is it possible a system can have too many filters and combinations of filters in the end?

Maybe my system is inherently flawed because of it. I still have a huge amount of data to work from but if my overcomplicate strive for perfection is not to be. So be it.

On top of that the away lays are still going strong and I have been careful not to overcomplicated or over filter.

@Trevor-H i like the concept as i have an O 0.5 1st half set and forget which is basically breaking even at the minute and often odds are around 1.3 so might try and track what would have happened with some of the losing trades on that had i of gone down your route.

Meantime I'm still working on the away lays which is coming along very nicely since I uncomplicated that one!

Scratch that. Not worked this hard and this long to stop now. Lay Under 1.5 MVV (it's high odds so stake adjusted accordingly.

Glad I didn't stop. Would have been annoyed at how easy that one was. 1-2

@Alex-Rule I've just checked back on this. I have a sample of 50 successful 0-0 at HT trades. The average time was 67 min.

Thanks for the tips today. Some I followed up on.

I hope they weren't the losers! That's the trouble with this sort of little-and-often strategy - a few blanks can ruin your day. I'm still assessing it myself. It's made 7 pts in a fortnight from 72 trades at 9.77% RoI, and I've increased my bank by 20%, which seems promising, but I'd like to have made around 200 trades before putting too much faith in it. Might be better to set a higher entry point, but then of course you'd miss more trades. I shan't start tweaking just yet, though. I'll stick to the KISS principle for now.
