@Greg-Mitchell always good for testing the old £1 stakes!

@Greg-Mitchell yeah I had something like 48 bets to place for set and forget today! Glad I have the horses automated at least.

Its weekend! Lots to look at today, but only gonna post the greens (4 out of 4 yesterday), far too many yellows and ambers:

@Martin it used the be the QBs responsibility to throw the ball to a place where the receiver would not get hit, otherwise they would lose the guy after 3 downs. But now days, with the contact rules and penalties, it’s a bit different. It’s like the NBA. I love the NBA but they took a lot from the game by calling faults for just about any contact and adding so many new rules and penalties. Still love it though. Football is a bit different but adding more cards or rules isn’t great for the game I think. It needs to remain a bit organic and loose. Even VAR was too much in my opinion. If the ref did not see it, well too bad… just a personal opinion though

@Martin so many rules now, some valid to protect players but many took away from the game. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still amazing to watch but it’s changed a lot. There an interesting interview from Brady discussing this. I’ll look for the link and share if you’re interested. They throw flags for just about anything.
Yeah I agree there is less contact allowed now but they do that to protect the players from injury. One thing I have noticed is they don't call roughing the passer as much as they did a couple of years back for minimal contact which is good. I also think they try to cut the flags down a bit in the bigger games.
