@andrew-page I’ve felt the same very often, just have Saturdays off. I’ve run strategy on weekdays only after i was doing weekends as well and pretty much got the same variance.
Munich are in the sin bin for the rest of the season
yes its just annoying they pick saturday to play like Numpties saying that on a downswing at the moment the tide turning on games where streaks are getting bust for funand the teams landing are scoring before entry one of those things variance is a bitch luck like the tide ebbs and flows
and Bayern

@Chris-King yeah I don't know why Saturdays are like that, really hard to give a definitive reason. It may just be that volume of trades will always lend to more variance naturally.

Thanks for the mention on the pod @Martin yesterday. Gave my spirits a lift after a slow Jan so far. Much appreciated!
thanks for contributing!

@Andrew-Camp as i said to martin, i can’t help think there is generally more pressure and stress for teams and players on Saturday matches particularly, even if it’s just a little.
-
@Daniel-Helps-0 Yeah i do the same now, i don’t want an overwhelming amount of trades on the weekends. It’s usually Saturday thats the difficult day. It’s another part of trading discipline. Discipline in trading is way more than exiting out at the right time or not placing that trade. It’s in every element.

@Martin I look forward to Saturday but the volume of trades can be a lot to deal with. I manage that a lot better than in the past though. I think i probably expect to do better because it’s Saturday, football’s main day etc but in reality thats not the case and feels more often a less successful day than weekdays.
I can’t help but think players and teams are under more pressure and feeling more stressed for one reason or another on a Saturday.
I agree, Sundays are different and i think closer to a weekday. -
@Alastair-Todd added this to the OP handy for reference!

Is it just me or does weekday football trading feel better than weekend to others too?
Sunday is my favourite day but yes I don't mind the more relaxed nature of midweeks!

Absolute nightmare weekends often thought of just having Saturday as day off

Completely agree, I think with less selections it’s easier not to get distracted looking for ‘just one more trade’. I use to do that a few years ago and would ultimately take smaller losses on a Saturday, not anymore though, I’ve made my selections even more strict for weekends so I only get relatively a similar number of trades to week days. Do I miss out on some games and trades? Yes, but have I had much better discipline for the last 3 years? Yes! Does that mean I’m not profitable? Yes!

Agreed. I've always found Saturdays to be a struggle. There must be a reason. Too many games maybe?
