Yeah i know what you mean - I guess the only way is to test both methods. If itβs working well just S&F in time we should all switch over.
That would be a nightmare with this strat at weekends. I think there were about 80 possibles last Saturday! But I want to do some number crunching and see if it can be refined a bit.

19:30 Manchester City v Brentford
19:45 AFC Wimbledon v Crawley Town

19:45 Cardiff v Blackburn
19:45 Cliftonville v Linfield
19:45 Farnborough v Torquay
19:45 Plymouth v West Brom
Odds not reached elsewhereAwful! Might have to go back to the drawing board with this one. Still up a bit overall, so I'll give it another day or two.
One overnighter: 01:00 Puebla v Pachuca
How have the youth games gone overall? May be ones to sack off
I find the Youth games have no real value on goals - they are expected so you often struggle to get over 1.2 at half time.
Well, exactly. I wasn't really expecting any to be matched. And I certainly wasn't expecting any 0-0s! They're usually cricket scores.

Do you check your in play stats before entering? I understand the appeal for S&F but I only tend to go in with at least 8 shots and 3 to 4 on target. I think the Cardiff game was just short of that at HT.
No, I'm trying for a set-and-forget system (see above). I know what you mean about in-play stats, but the number of times I've seen a game look dead and then they score with their only shot ...

Possibly just variance Richard?

Laying Under 1.5 in Aldershot this evening
That really must be it for now as I don't want to undo all the good work from last year.
Is it possible a system can have too many filters and combinations of filters in the end?
Maybe my system is inherently flawed because of it. I still have a huge amount of data to work from but if my overcomplicate strive for perfection is not to be. So be it.
On top of that the away lays are still going strong and I have been careful not to overcomplicated or over filter.
I'm desperate to throw the baby out with the bath water here. In the cold light of day how foolish would it be to give up on something I've put almost 2 yrs into now because of a few rogue results well overdue. I'm simply not going to post them until I can be sure the finished product looks as good as I hoped it would be and I'm not going to put anything on them myself either. Data collection only.

I had the latter two as well

@Trevor-H i like the concept as i have an O 0.5 1st half set and forget which is basically breaking even at the minute and often odds are around 1.3 so might try and track what would have happened with some of the losing trades on that had i of gone down your route.

@Shannon-Townsend said in *****New Football Thread*****:
@Trevor-H are you placing these bets at your set price pre match and just seeing which ones get matched as/if and when the clock ticks round or you keeping an eye on each game?
The former, mostly. I was monitoring at the weekend, just to avoid posting dead games, but the idea is set and forget. Work in progress, as you can tell
