@Martin hi bud. Didn't spot those other emails.
Just basically how to interpret the different info, and put it into context. One match yesterday had a high action - activity index (116) - does that mean goals or shots or cards or all?
High home accuracy advantage (64)?
26/02/24 19:00 | Netherlands - Eerste Divisie | Jong Utrecht vs Oss:
Low away Elo (1268)
Low home Elo (1255)
Low away Elo (1268)Sorry, it may be blindingly obvious to some, but maybe I knocked off that day of school
i had that match for over 1.5/2.5 goals

Had a few spreadsheet issues, so been fixing it and tidying it up a bit as was getting unwieldy. Anyhow here's todays selections:
-
@mick-mcmahon
From the rating page: https://new.betfairtradingcommunity.com/ratings/Home / Away Accuracy Advantage
This a rating out of 100 and is a measure of one team’s conversion rate vs the other team’s tendency to concede shots. The higher the figure, the more goals you may expect that team to score. For example, if the home team takes on average 3 shots per goal and the away team concedes 9 shots per match, you may expect the home team to get a few goals. A negative figure indicates that the team’s average shots per goal is higher than the other team’s average shots conceded per match. This figure will be zero if we don’t have attack-related stats for the match.
Activity Index
A rating which gives an indication of the likely pace of a match. The average shots on/off target, blocked shots and corners for each team are compared to the league averages. A positive figure indicates that the match is likely to be more active than the average match for this league. A negative figures indicates that match is likely to be less active than average. This figure will be zero if we don’t have attack-related stats for the match.

@andrew-page thanks I'm really pleased how well received it has been, I think it's so much better than the previous one.
@Adam actually did most of the work in creating it, so again good work from him!

Hey @Martin - Is there a post about the new football email layout anywhere and how to use it? I was baffled yesterday (also hung over )
Hi Mick, I did email out a couple of times in the past month about the new format and asked for feedback on it.
What is it that baffles you specificially? I will make a video explanation to add to it.
Sorry martin meant to reply but was in middle of a shop shutdown so was a bit chaotic Much better more informative
