@Akiva-Anderson II think the problem here is the motivation for the prem clubs can be a bit lacking, some of the players think it is beneath them to get stuck into these games as seriously as they should, I also think that playing second or third string players can lead to the prem teams being a better bet although the odds should be better because first team players are not playing.

@Richard-Latimer yeh understand that, but their second team should still be able to win this with relative ease
Agree. Premier League clubs should be winning both Conference League and Europa League with ease. Their budgets compared to other clubs are insane

@Andy-Donnelly that and the fact they may not take the competition seriously. Especially if they're pushing for top 4.
We all know priority will be UCL millions and not a second rate Euro competition.

Just looking at the outright odds on the conference league. Sounds silly as it’s so short but even at 2.7 to 3.0, Chelsea still look like value. Those odds roughly indicate a 35% percent chance. I know it’s a tournament with a load of teams that hasn’t started yet but surely Chelsea win this at least 50% of the time. Only genuine threats are Betis and Fiorentina and over two legs you’d still expect them to be dealt with so it’s only the final against one of them that there may be some jeopardy in my opinion.
May be worth a crack. On the negative side I suppose problem is likelihood of having your liability stuck in Betfair for a fair few months as probably price won’t shorten substantially for a while.

@Greg-Mitchell defo didn't lay yes?

Oops Betfair...

@Simon-Bates mental!

Check this game, goals 42, 45, 47, 50, 53
-
@Akiva-Anderson we should get some good match ups each round though, seems at least one per gameday will be a big match worth watching for the neutral.

@Akiva-Anderson what odds were Dortmund? Lots of big wins yesterday!
I said before the competition started that we'll see big scores. Some of these teams are nowhere near good enough to compete.

Dortmund v Celtic.
Fancy Dortmund to win, but I'm laying the Under 1.5 Goals at 7.0 for the safer option.

@Stephen-Hancox great to hear, was thinking I might do the podcast with Ryan could be better to bounce reactions off each other
-
@Martin I'm loving the overreactions podcasts as well. Something a bit different but topical. Plenty of trading angle ideas.
I've noticed on the football stats that English Champ, League 1 and league 2 had XG stats last season but don't this season. Is this something that has been binned? Or could be added back on?

@Arran-Shackell didn't get a great response as a video but seems to work well as a podcast glad you are enjoying it!
