Back The Favourite v3.0 - New and Improved

@Joseph-Henderson joint favs?
-
@John-Folan The bot placed two bets on the 13:50 at Yarmouth - Anglo Saxson and Free Step. Both qualified in terms of odds and were valid selections from the software. Anglo Saxson went off favourite so I’m assuming the software will only report one bet on the race, on Anglo Saxson?

@John-Folan Thanks for sharing. I think you had set up the 5-15 seconds thing differently to me so will try that!

@Joseph-Henderson working on this today.

@Joseph-Henderson haven’t done anything the last few days. Let me get over this covid nonsense and I’ll post it for you once I’ve tested it properly.

@Joseph-Henderson no I haven’t turned off the favourite filter. Im trying to get it to bet 5 seconds after going Inplay. You do that under market conditions in BFBM.
I’ve knocked something up but im going to change it after Jonathons suggestion below. Will probably be more accurate.
Hi John. Any chance I could take a look at your bot for this to see how it differs to my attempt? Thanks

@Jonathan-Jones I massively prefer it and yes I am trying to get it to do all the work without importing selections. Good point on that. Might be easier.
BFBM is my favourite Bot provider. There is usually a work around for everything and the fact I can auto import selections from BTC is invaluable.

Course winner might need to be messed with as it works differently in BFBM as you can't specify the number of wins but only reduces profit a little.
Seen a few comments like this from you. Makes me wonder if you are trying to replicate all the filters the software does in BFBM (so you dont actual use the softwares selections making it 100% automated). Is that what you are doing? Is it possible? Would it not be easier (more consistent) to use stripped down filters in the software to generate the selections, then import them something like 10-15 mins before the race into BFBM and just have BFBM to stuff like odds filters/favourite and stuff it might do better than the software? Can it even do that?
Looks like i have identified the major cause of my issues with that other strat. It was a misconfigured filter version of the strategy. Its still not perfect so BFBM is definitely on the cards, going to watch a pile of its tutorial videos today but wondering what you think of its real scope and possibilities.

@John-Folan Hi John. How have you got on with this? Mine seems to be a bit inconsistent with the results on the software. For getting the selections have you just turned off the favourite filter on the software but left the other filters alone? I had set my bot to fire 10 seconds before and set an odds range, but it seems to be misfiring. How do you set it to take BSP inplay after 5 seconds?
-
This can be automated in BFBM pretty easily. If you set the bets to go off after the race has started (5-15 seconds). @Keith-Driscoll recommends this all the time as you can specify BSP favourite and it will be right every time. Course winner might need to be messed with as it works differently in BFBM as you can't specify the number of wins but only reduces profit a little. Give me a few days to sort it and test the bot. Nice little strategy to add to the arsenal.

@kevin-gahan ok thanks Martin

@kevin-gahan because it's not an automated system would have to be done manually
Challenge accepted

Why are these updates not automatically added to the presets?

@Joseph-Henderson sure mate here it is! rules_export (3).json

Hi Martin - is it possible to get the strategy download for v4.0 following your recent youtube video? Thanks
