I like the idea of set and forget
I like the O1.5 goals market

    I follow Martins O1.5 selections
I follow Tomasz O 1.5 lays but back the O1.5 at the best equivalent price I can (I dont like to stake higher than 1pt)

So I am now tracking my own very simple O1.5 Strategy which I started on 15/12 and has currently logged 138 bets which shows a Strike rate of around 70% and a ROI of 2.84%

I added a filter to that strategy and that filter has tracked just 19 bets with a ROI of 11%

Both strategies have a very good S/R of 80% + on a SHG which would mean not just leaving them as Set and Forget but would probably only needs odds north of 1.24 to be an additional strategy.

My question would be how long or how many bets to monitor before placing real money and moving an idea from testing to a usable strategy?

@terry-heller so the results are the key really and they look good so far. Especially the odds you are getting, sometime over 1.5 can be 1.11

    Hi Martin

The first filter finds games where the Betfair price is over a certain price and will by the end of today have nearly 200 results to look at since the 15th December.

After a couple of weeks tracking those selections I added another criteria to try and improve the strike rate and have been trying £1 bets on those selections. The added criteria was Overall O1.5 greater than 70%.

My entry point is pre kick off at the price that the stats software says is available when I check the filter.

I am also thinking that the SHG could be good but at the moment I am not in a position to place those bets without automation which may come into consideration after a couple more months of testing.

I am very pleased with how this is progressing so far.

If I have linked my spreadsheet correctly it would be nice if more experienced members would perhaps cast their eyes over it and give me an opinion.

Thanks for the advice but at the moment I am using the minimum £1 stakes and as far as I can tell BF doesnt allow for that. I am happy backing the selections at the equivalent odds though and it still makes money though the ROI would be lower. ( working with a £20 bank while I get the feel of things keeps me in my comfort zone)

As an alternative to laying to stake on Tomasz's lay U1.5 strategy, why not lay to liability of 1pt?
