Getting Historical Data from Betfair - So Annoying!

How the hell does one get this data from Betfair into Excel? I have downloaded the Tar file from Betfair for the data I want to look at. Extracted it and now have a load of .bz2 files, which don't seem to do anything when I extract them.
Why cant it be simple??

I used to use Microsoft Access (or similar for free), rather than Excel.

I’ve never tried downloading but if your familiar with Power Query in Excel that may help.
