@tony-hastie I think you're right about the clear cut favourite at 75mins. I don't see this automation working consistently at 60 minutes.
I have created one this afternoon that fired correctly on all the Championship games. The timings can be adjusted to suit your needs and don't forget to change the staking - it is set to £10 liability at the moment. Needs to be applied to the correct score market.
It relies on weight of money conditions so may go awry if the liquidity is low. Best used on more high profile leagues for the moment. I'm planning on testing some smaller leagues later today.
As always with automation, make sure to test with small stakes or better still in practice mode to make sure you're happy with how it performs. It has only had limited testing.
Let me know how it goes.
This is the business Wayne! Ive tried it on about 20 random games since you posted it only 2 have not fired. Those 2 had around 50 liquidity, and one of them had 5 goals before halftime. The lowest liquidity its worked on is around 350. Reckon it should be added to the OP. Cheers
Could it be adapted to the second half goals strategy simply by changing the time in the rules?

@nathan-cooke Yes, I just enter the race and leave the horse selection blank.
Sorry, misread. Where's V4? I just use the ones in the pinned post above. This is Back the fav 4.0

@Nathan-Cooke if its a clear favourite Ill automate it. If not Ill do my best to check the odds closer to the race. If its too close I just pass...

Is anyone running an automation for back the fav v4? Just wondering how you navigate the won at course requirement? I'm currently entering the selection based on the qualifiers and obviously if it isn't the fav then no trade is entered on the race. Thanks in advance team

Here is the late goal any score Ive been trialling. @Wayne-Thomas mentioning the CS low liquidity remeinded me to post it! It has a problem I cant work out how to solve...which I thought was because of low liquidity in the CS market. But tried it on the PSG game last night and it didnt fire correctly. Basically, on the odd occasion it will lay the wrong correct score. Its set up to lay the fav score but sometimes the favourite is a score that is yet to happen! This is adapted from the super late goals in the OP and maybe works at 75min as the favourite score is more clear cut. Any input much appreciated...

@Wayne-Thomas @Tom-2 Don't know if this is of any help but when I was looking at the split stake I didn't use a CS bot, I had a rule to store the back odds of O1.5 at 3 mins before KO and then a condition on the 30 min back bet rule that the current odds were higher than the prematch odds. If they were lower it meant a goal had been scored so no trade.
-
@tony-hastie Thanks for finding those. I have used this correct score scanner before and while it does seem to work on the bigger leagues, when there is poor liquidity in the correct score market, it sometimes goes awry due to the weight of money condition that it relies upon.
I have managed to rig one up myself that seems to be working now. It uses the over 0.5 market by placing an unmatched bet to check if the market is still open. Need to do a bit more testing on obscure leagues though before I'm confident that it works consistently.

These should work now, although I haven't tested them. You will need to load both the correct score and Over 1.5 markets into BA, then apply the CS bot to the Correct Score Market and the other to the over 1.5 market.

@Wayne-Thomas @Tom-2 I had this strategy working quite well with 2 bots(correct score checker, O1.5) I found on the BA forum....had to adapt the O1.5 bot slightly. But sad to say I deleted them when I dropped the strategy. Ill try and track them down again when the kids are asleep...

@tom-2 No problem. If I can sort it out, I will post it here. I have the bets firing and it now trades out when it loses. Just need to make sure the green up is firing when the trade comes in.
I'll keep plugging away.
-
@wayne-thomas Thanks Wayne.
When you have sorted it out, would you mind sharing it mate? -
@tom-2 Yes. That's the one. On it's own, that won't work because it doesn't have a 0-0 check. If you look at the conditions on the 'back 50%' rules, you'll see that it requires a stored condition named "0-0 29" to have a value above 0 before it will fire.
You need a second piece of automation to run on the Over 0.5 or 0-0 markets to determine whether it is still 0-0 at 29mins and then later at 49mins. This piece of automation will then mark the stored value as 1 and then the automation that you have will use that to know when to trigger the bets.
Similarly you will need another piece of automation to determine when a goal is scored to enable it to cash out
Not sure where this automation came from but perhaps the originator has the missing pieces required to make this work. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has run this and made it work but from my understanding, as it is, it will not work, but I may be wrong. As I said I've only been doing this 3 months myself.
I've had a go at creating the missing pieces and managed to get the bets to fire. However, it did not exit on 71mins as it should have. I'm having another go now and retesting. Will let you know how I get on.
-
@wayne-thomas Cheers mate.
I did run the original but had the same problem.
I'll take a screen shot and show you. -
@tom-2 Not dumb. I meant the original post at the top of the thread from Richard Morris. This automation below?
Ryan's 1.5 goal split stake: 0_1681636898599_1668436073864-football-back-o1.5-split-stakes.baf
Can you screenshot the rules from your automation file. I can check if they're the same.
In any case, you will need two sets of automation for this strategy. It won't run properly without a 0-0 check on either the 0-0 or Over 0.5 market. That's my understanding anyway. I've only been running automation for 3 months myself.
-
@wayne-thomas. Sorry Wayne, dumb question but what does OP mean?
The filter I'm using is Richard Coxen's "Ryan's split stake"
I'm running it today again on this match: Oleksandriya vs Shakhtar Donetsk and this time I'm selecting o1.5 goals market. Seems logical to me. -
@tom-2 Is this the filter from the OP? If so, then it should be used on the Over 1.5 market I think.
However, it won't fire because there is a stored value condition check in the back rules that cannot be met. It needs another piece of automation to run to check whether the score is 0-0. This will need to be run on either the Over 0.5 or correct score market.
I stand to be corrected but from a cursory glance over, that appears to be the problem.
-
@simon-topper I thought that when I started but Martin said it should be correct score.
I assumed the filter would sort the rest out, if Automation Selection was left blank.Strange. I must be doing something wrong because some of my bets have fitted all the criteria and still not triggered.
-
@dave-tancock Yes Dave. I've been running the racing automation everyday for about 3 weeks and no problems.
