    @dave-tancock Irish DOB.baf

    Try that. It doesnt take the horse age into account, I do that manually...

    Hi Dave.

    On your back bet rule, go to the parameter tab and set it for an offset bet with greening of 50%. If you are backing before the off don't forget to add a keep all unmatched bets rule

    If I’m looking to create a dobbing/Irish dobbing bot on betangel. How do I create the second trade (lay) to activate st the desired price point. I can tweak an existing bot to back horses at certain odds/time before race it’s just the additional bit I’m unsure on. Any suggestions would be appreciated

    @Tony-Hastie

    I'm glad you did state the obvious, because yea, that was the problem

    I tried it just now and it worked just as expected. 🤗

    @Wayne-Thomas - it was refreshing properly, the problem was just me 🙂

    Big thanks to both of you for pointing me in the right direction basically doing all of the work for me. That file will be a great starting point for experimenting with, and it demonstrates how to use features like signals too, so I'm really chuffed.

    @dave-tancock that's how I've been interpreting it! Don't think there are any selections today though...

    @Tony-Hastie thanks mate. I have added it to betangel. Just to check, do i just allocate the bot to a race? I dont have to pick a specific horse(s) like with other strategies. Sorry if this is a daft question

    "I applied it at 65 minutes, thinking it would trigger on the 83rd minute or thereabouts but it didn't. "

    At the risk of stating the obvious I think that bot needs the game to be loaded before kick off(something to do with the signals?). I interperet the above as you loading the game at 65 minutes. Please ignore me if Im wrong....but its something that I also did and wondered why the bot wasnt firing...

    @JON-RIDING No worries. You can ignore the 00:00:00 rules; they're just dividing lines. I did test it on a few games and it worked okay for me. Have you set the refresh settings correctly on the "Advanced settings" tab in guardian?

    You need to make sure guardian is refreshing the market right until the end of the game, if you have restricted the refresh. I would set the refresh "To seconds after start time" to 8100, which is 2h 15min to make sure you're still refreshing during any lengthy injury time.

    If you haven't restricted the refresh then I'm not sure why it didn't fire. I will apply it to some games tonight and make sure it is working as intended. Don't worry about asking questions, Bet Angel isn't the most intuitive piece of software. Took me a while to get to grips with it too.

    @Wayne-Thomas Thank you so much, that's amazing, I really appreciate the time you spent doing that. Also sorry for the length of time it has taken for me to thank you.

    I'm testing it on a few games tonight. I applied it at 65 minutes, thinking it would trigger on the 83rd minute or thereabouts but it didn't. Is there anything else I should be doing other than applying it in the Automation Rules 1 column? (I saw rules set for 00:00:00 but I think that these are just used as list headings?)

    I appreciate your patience and sorry for all the questions.

    @dave-tancock

    Lay the 1st and 2nd fav.baf

    Dont know if this will win any bot building awards but it seems to do the trick!

    @dave-tancock I've got a bot for it. I'll share once I'm home and have recovered from taking the kids to Blippi😁

    Has anyone tried the lay the 1st and 2nd favourites in the horse racing presets? Also how does that work with automation, I can only see an option to trade a specific horse or the field not a couple of horse. Although I’m probably missing something obvious

    @JON-RIDING The way the correct score scanner works (the current score is determined by a process of elimination using a weight of money condition) makes it virtually impossible to work out which one of those three options is the current score becuase they will all remain active until the end of the game with money on both sides (back and lay).

    Barring that, I have amended the automation to fit your needs and attached below. Please bear in mind that I haven't had the chance to test it, so advise that you use it in practise mode, to make sure it functions as you want it to, before going live. I'll have a quick test this evening on the Irish games to see if it fires correctly.

    Lay Current Score (Price 1.5).baf

    @Wayne-Thomas do you mind me asking why did you put those 3 signal setters to avoid the last 3 rows (AOHW, AOAW, AOD)?

    It's probably a dope question, but I am trying to learn about automation and to understand why you've done it the way you have.

    I'm trying to create an automation similar to yours, that will lay the current score - whatever that may be - when the price reaches 1.5 (so 85 mins +).

    @dave-tancock when you are in Guardian click on List on the top right, then in the Layout section there's a icon that lets you choose columns for your layout like Automation Rule and Nominated Selection.
    Select how many you want then save that layout so you don't have to do it every time you log in. Hopefully that helps you
