Bet Angel Automation Thread

@william-maynard You set your rules to say, rule 1 nominated selection 1, rule 2 nominated selection 2, rule 3 nominated selection 3 ( you can add more nominated selections in the same way you can add more rules)
-
@richard-coxon thanks , thats perfect , how will the nominated selections work with 3 rules?

is there a way to auto trade 2 seperate trades on the same market? i want to use back the fav and also a pace lay but in the same race? i can add a strategy, but can i add 2?
Yes, you can run upto five automation rules on one market. in Guardian go to the List tab and click the first icon on the left, looks like a grid (next to the save icon) then a pop up appears, select automation rules 2 (or however many you want). Then another automation rules column appears. You can choose a rule from the dropdown in the grid then.

@william-maynard I intended to try them all but decided to bite the bullet and take the £50 off offer. It does what I want(very basic automation) but others might be able to tell you if its worth it or not(or ask me in a year!)...its literally my first day as a paid up member
Edit to add- You wont see its full potential on a 2 week trial there is loads to take in...
-
@tony-hastie yeah the 14 day free trial. thats prob why. is it worth signing up? i cant decide to use this or fairbot.. haven't tried fairbot yet though..
-
@william-maynard Are you on a free trial? I was, and couldnt see them(although hadnt tried to register for the forum either) Ive joined up now and can see the lot
-
is there a reason i can't view the forum bots in bet angel??? they all say not available to me?
-
@tony-hastie I just had a look .. maybe some form of relative odds condition, I can never remember which way round the greater than or less than needs to be, anyway, here is an example of what I mean. As I say it may not work, I am sure there is a boffin about who may be able to throw a brighter light on it than I.

The idea is that if the 2nd fav is less than 10 ticks (or whatever number of ticks you want) away from the favourite then it wont run, if it is more than 10 ticks, then it will be true and fire the bet (I think) not tried it as nothing running of any worth at the moment. This is just, as I say, an idea that may do something that you want.
-
@tony-hastie You could add a condition that says something like if the 2nd fav is over x ticks from the favourite then place the bet, if it is under x ticks, dont place the bet. If I get time tomorrow I will have a look to see if that is possible if it helps.

Checking out the back the fav bot today and it selected the favourite but didnt take into account another horse with pretty much exactly the same odds. Of course, the other horse won!
Was wondering if there was something I could add to the rule to stop that happening? Very new to Bet Angel, still feeling my way. Any help much appreciated..

@Greg-Mitchell
Two games fully tested. Both losing trades but everything looked to fire correctly. Of course just as bet angel got me out of the market a goal was scored -
@miro I do not know if anyone replied to you direct, I do not think you can run two guardians in the same bet angel instance, however you can run more than one copy of bet angel on the same PC ( https://forum.betangel.com/viewtopic.php?t=7214 ). If you need to filter your guardian markets, you may be better off using Coupons or Lists, so one set for horses one for footie, or one for one strategy, meeting, etc.
-
@miro so looking at that, whichever game it was, was 0-0 after 30 mins and a goal was scored just before half time. If so then looks spot on to me.

@greg-mitchell
Hi Greg.
I downloaded both baf files and used them as you suggested. There were three games this evening, one was suspended from the start, one of the others there was an early goal (20 mins).However, the game between Jong Ajax vs Oss fired, there was a goal at 40 minutes, so it was profitable.
So the first part fires ok, let's see what this week brings to see if the rest fires up ok.

Hi Greg.
Thank you very much, really do appreciate it. I shall test it tomorrow for minimum stakes and let you know.

@miro @Greenie
These should work now, although I haven't tested them. You will need to load both the correct score and Over 1.5 markets into BA, then apply the CS bot to the Correct Score Market and the other to the over 1.5 market.
