@dave-tancock HI Mate iv looked at the automation that you down loaded and i see that its placing bets in the market at 3rd best market price using signals, now i will admit im not up on the signals yet so iv knocked something up thats slightly different,
it places a £1 bet backing ov 1.5g if the back price is above 1.25 it places it at best market price.
it then waits till 5min into second half and places a £1 bet at best market price if back price is above 1.3.
if no goal by 70th min it will red up .
if at any time after your 1st and or your second bet gets matched it will green up BUT only if the profit is over 0.20p.
im testing it at mo on 2 games if it works ok il post it.
alternitivly you could edit the rules file in automation you all ready have from 3rd best market price to best market price getting matched instantly to see if that works as you may be getting a goal before being matched. -
@rick-watson really appreciate that mate. It’s supposed the over 1.5 split stake strategy. So backing over 1.5 goals if 0-0 at 30 mins (£1 stake), place another £1 stake if still 0-0 at 50 mins. Then trade out at 70 mins if no goal scored.

@dave-tancock Send me what exactly you want to do in writing ie place a back bet on ov 1.5 g at 20mins if no goal enter again at 30min.
or place back bet at 1.30 and 1.35 odds and hold in the market till matched.

@rick-watson hi mate, I have just copied the split stake one on this thread to start off with and get used to automation. even when the match is 0-0 at 30 minutes, the most I get in the log is either:
01/05/2023 13:01:29: Guardian has detected that the market is in-play
01/05/2023 13:01:29: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
01/05/2023 13:01:30: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspendedhave tried it several times on different games and cannot get it to work. unless there is something I need to add to this bot that I dont know/understand?

@dave-tancock Hi ya mate , have you checked times your placing bets? if its odds your after place them before market goes in play and add a rule keep unmatched bets. if its time lapse your going for make sure you include rules market must be inplay , must be active / fire from say 10mins to 11 mins etc. without seeing your automation im just guessing here, alternitivly give me a rough idea what your trying to do and il stick something together for you

Trying to use the split stake bot on bet angel. The guardian thing says market in play, suspended and unsuspended. I have checked Betfair and it hasn’t placed a trade. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Have tried following videos on YouTube but everything looks correct.
Any ideas. -
Yesterday on the bet Angel YouTube account Pete went through how to make your own bot as well.
Might give you somewhere to start, although I found Richard Coxon’s video below more useful. -

Hey guys new to automation
Just wondering with the shared strategies in the parameters section why are most of the "Place at" set to 3rd best market price and not best market price?
Is it sort of a safety measure that all of your stake gets matched?
