When you do tell her, don’t go into loads of details. Just keep it brief and if she wants to know more she’ll ask. Anything to do with money is a personal thing so tread lightly.

Also, going on about spreadsheets isn’t the massive turn on that we like to think it is!

We click on so much it would be truly horrible if this got in the way. So I should try and bring it up on the 2nd date?

Obviously I can try and explain everything to her as well as say I would never risk money set aside for bills etc.... I won't be able to show her as we'll be out. I can offer to be 100% transparent. Maybe it's even better to put it across as a hobby (many people do it as a hobby without it being a problem) until I can show large gains to the bank.

We have already discussed so many private things so hopefully this is just another hurdle which can be overcome!!

Whatever you do, tell her face to face, you can then explain its different trading to gambling.
I would not leave it long as you don't want to get comfy and fall for her if she does not have similar outlooks on certain aspects of your life!
Honesty is always best...otherwise you live a lie.

@richard-latimer here’s my two cents. Tell her your plans, explain it’s trading and explain it. I think given her history she will not like it so you may have to choose between the two. Be prepared for that and don’t get too attached to her yet.
