Bit of advice needed please?

Went out on a date last Thursday which I'm pretty sure is the best I've been on since I split from my wife. We've been texting each other every day since and ALOT. Both know what we want and both like each other so just a question of taking it slow and seeing what develops.

The reason for this thread is that during our first date she told me her ex was addicted to gambling and lost their house!!!

Naturally I'm pretty reticent to bring up my plans as regardless of how different I know it is.....that's a BIG piece of negative history I have to overcome.

Anyone any advice when I do broach the subject and how I do it?

Don't want to lie to her and keeping things for too long seems almost as bad!
