There seems to be a potentially decent angle with under 1.5 first half goals from the results so far so I’m tracking this as set and forget on an additional sheet which is viewable.
First half U1.5G is striking at 75% and I noticed that there is often value odds on the first half 1.5 goal market: Back odds above 1.33 and lay odds below 4.00. This is on my narrowed down selections only.
So with that in mind I’ve begun to take the historic first half 1.5 goals odds from Flash Score and see if there is profitability.
The odds I’m taking for the past matches are the worst available bookmaker’s under 1.5 first half goals odds converted to the lay equivalent. In many cases there were slightly better bookmakers odds available. Initially, any matches at 3.9 or below qualify.
I still need to complete around half of the recorded matches but it’s looking profitable so far.
From today I’ll be using the Betfair prices. What I think may happen is that Betfair prices will have more value. It seems to have been the case today and hopefully that will mean better profits.
So, selections will be those that have qualified for the second half goal strategy and have first half over 1.5 goals lay odds of 3.9 and below.
Decent start on this and hope to see the same consistency over the next couple of months. Betfair is clearly providing better odds.
