Does anybody else think it would be good to have a stats package to try and build some filters for it?

Obviously way too late now but it's definitely something I would like to explore in the future.

Same here, also what's the liquidity?

Think you'd have to be on matchbook. Liquidity was poor last time I looked on betfair.

I might try and build a model for it this year, I've had a go with baseball but I find it hard to keep checking with so many games a day!

My main bet opening weekend will be Broncos to beat Seahawks -3.5pts, will wait until nearer kick off but Seahawks feel like full tank mode and Wilson will have a point to prove!

@richard-latimer Boxscore's are live and in play.

Nothing live at the minute, MLB games start in a few hours,

Ah yeah, I would like to see some pre-game stats for the overall rather than individual teams. Just a little frustrating. You can get the average points for each team and ave points scored on but you can't easily get the simple average points for the whole game.

Box score seems to be after the game has taken place. Other than that you can look up team stats.

I haven't been able to find a single website where you can click on a game and get the overall stats for that game.

It's all team stats and player stats.

If anything they go too in depth into the stats without giving you the basics of any individual game.

I'd love to look at the main 4 sports in the states as I used to bet on these all the time......unsuccessfully I may add.

    MLB
    NHL
    NBA
    NFL

They are all driven by stats and the other 3 have a crazy amount of games per season!!

Go to ESPN.COM and look at the Box Scores gives you everything you need to know about a game but I'm with you there must be angles we can take advantage of and something that appeals to me.

I want to get more involved in trading the NFL this year if I can.

@richard-latimer Not sure that will work anyway there's only 17 games a season anyway and with a number of international games true home and away form harder to spot trends.

In play probably the better way to go

You're probably right but it would be good to see.

@richard-latimer That surprises me there are more stats in the NFL than most other sports combined

I know. There are loads of stats but you can't just go to a page like soccerstats for example and just look at the most relevant stats for each game. Plus everything is taken down to the season rather than being able to look at the last 5 or 10 games for example.
