Demo mode on betfair with trading software
-
Has anyone came across betfair account being blocked or closed for using on demo mode for too long without staking real money
Does not imply to me just asking as a general question for some new traders that ive been speaking too heard betfair dont like you using demo for too long -
You use demo mode to practise for a few days to make sure you know what you are doing, and to ensure bots work as they should. Then you switch to real mode. If you are trading, £1 should only result in pennies being lost if you mess up.

yes thats what I had seen ive been trading for a year did try geeks toy for a bit on demo mode I was mainly asking for a vid that someone did on youtube where he said use demo mode basically so you dont lose any money but im with you no point really just use real money as you can have lots of low risk trades to start off with and you can have lots of trades and only be losing very minimal but only real way to train I did drop them a comment suggesting not too use demo mode for too long

Can happen if that’s all you do. I know one trader it happened to and he had to pay a few hundred to get them to unlock it. Simulation mode is a waste of time anyway as you always get your bets matched and it’s not true odds. You can get pence stakes matched via trading software and bots so it’s far better to do that. Just make sure you are banging some full sized stakes in as well in something. Use something like Keith’s over 1.5’s. They will keep Betfair happy and also make you money. It’s a win win.
