@iain I get a loss of 67 points when I run this strategy?

I have another strategy that’s currently backing the second favorite at BSP. How can I amend this so it selects the second priced horse in the market 60 seconds before start time?
My results are showing a horse that was actually the market leader at BSP and not second so I think the above would eliminate this “error”.

I downloaded the json file again and it appears to be running ok now. I had to manually enter the bet time parameter to 00:10:00 for some reason but that's it.

Check the software. Adam has changed things. You might need to look at the time your trade is open and make sure your entry point has a stop

I presume their doing a upgrade as few of my strategies aren't working anymore and the ones that work the results have changed lots

@kevin-pepper yes I'll probably just create a sheet for that though as it's a pain in the backside updating the op with so much info at once

@wayne-ironside There's an issue with the "runs" rule. Basically it's putting the minimum and maximum in a list instead of a number range. This means when the strategy runs, it's looking for horses that either have 3 OR 300 runs, instead of anywhere between 3-300 runs.
We'll correct this in an update tomorrow.

Hi Martin
These updates are great. Any chance you can add the Yield and No. of Selections when you next update the current figures?
The Yield is particularly helpful to understand the profit for Lay strategies as the £ profit can be a little misleading when laying at higher prices.

I've just had a look at this. I think it's an issue with the way we're calculating the run history in your pace letter rule. I'll get it sorted.

@martin Here is a revised version of the Back Favourites In Maidens. The drawdown is greatly reduced, and I have also altered the odds' entry point.

I'll add another strategy, similar to this, in the next day or so dealing with Irish racing.

@Martin very interesting on the stats. My forward testing is showing healthy profit on my version of beaten favs and a losing run on backing favourites. Need to compare and contrast courses used to see what the difference is.

Yeah but on the horse software by changing it from 10 mins before off to just before the profit has dropped by over half. But is still good and more accurate
