@john-folan that looks crazy mate! Have you made a bot for it (asking for a friend )

Well this looks a bit tidy. Usual logical filters and a 100% 8,10,12 pace rating in the last few races. Course filters appearing a must and it seems to be the same regular places that are coming up in a lot of strategies as poor performers so I have no bones about using them especially the really poor ones. £599 profit to £1 stakes and a whopping 138% ROI. Mental. Oh and taking a price 11 minutes out before the scalpers go to town adds over 100 points profit. You could also Trob these for a whopping 119 points profit a year as well and an ROI of 28%. Guess its bot building time for a bit of testing

Hi, after a bit of help here. A couple of the strategies here, eg Ians back long odds maidens and Keiths lay short odds strategies (and obviously others as well) each produce several horses for the same race. In that case which of the nags is one supposed to be going for? My idiot quotient is quite high today.
Hi Dr Steve
If the strategy relies on the price/odds of the horse at or near to the off then the list of qualifiers will have every horse in the list as technically any of them could fall within the price bracket at the required time prior to the off. For example my back the favs strategy needs the horse to fall within 1.5 and 10 but the crucial part is it MUST be the fav at the time of the bet (for the one it's 10 seconds before the off). This means you either need to watch the races at that time or use automation.Hope this helps
KeithYoure a gentleman sir and my apologies for not seeing the obvious...

You need to check the races near the off and go for the one that’s the favourite in the odds range. Easier to do if botted tbh

@john-folan Fair enough I’ll check it out. I must admit I hadn’t given much attention to, and therefore not got my head around, the ‘timing’ part of the software so I left it as it was!
Unless you are going in after the start you probably want it sent to official. If you are going in after the start then actual. Same for trading out as well. Reflects real life trading then especially using bots

I have been playing around with Keiths back the favourite strategy and i made a few tweaks
Id be interested to see if anyone could check this out and verify it, its showing +433.43 at 23% ROI
Great stuff mate this is why it's important to share strategies
I've set this version up on my BFBotManager to compare it to my original.I am seriously nitpicking here but the only mistake you have made is the time of entry is a waste of time using actual start time as we don't now what it is. Change it to before the 'official' start time. It gives you more profit like that anyway :).
You will need to import tips I reckon as you can't set a handicap of 0 in BFbot. There is a weight condition but that's a number for the actual weight I think.

@john-folan Makes sense! Have you tried putting the little acorns system through it? I had a very quick look but ive only been messing round with it a few days so ive not sussed out all the multiple pricing options
Funnily I was thinking about that last night. I’ll ask Adam if it can be done. I hadn’t sussed that yet either.

@john-folan Is your lay strategy set up in the software?
It’s not in the presets. Martin has one that does the job with almost the same p and l. I didn’t bother putting mine up as they are very similar.

@richard-oates no point as you would miss the selections, odds move a lot in horse racing throughout the day.
This is why I keep banging on about automated trading. Our two Short odds lays strategies and Keith’s fave backs are the ultimate set and forget. Just turn the bot on and forget lol.
It’s also useful if you have to handle things like my Slow Horses and ZPD’s. Makes life infinitely easier.

@richard-oates it's not every runner in the races just the runners that would qualify if the odds criteria was hit
