Hi Jon
As I understand it mate when we are selecting the event time (market open, before or after the off) the strategy builder uses the price at that specific time as a snapshot. This is then used as the price for that particular bet.
I'm sure @Adam will correct me if I'm wrong? -

@Adam why it would only shows 1 bet 1-2hrs before race and 13300 bets 10hrs before start?
results are for FAV3 all prices no other filtering -
@svajunas-bernotas-0 I was thinking it might be able to do that, let us know how you get on? I wonder if just setting 24hrs would also work? I dont think markets are loaded onto BF earlier than this? Except maybe for big meetings/races?

Hi I wonder if you could help me with regards to what is a good MFE & MAE in the horse racing software, I've got a MFE 4.75% & MAE 0.48% with a very good SR & ROI, but not sure if this is any good and if not should it be higher and how would I go about increasing it?

Early results show that it makes a BIG difference in some cases!
if you back every 3rd fav at the market open it is showing 4200 profit, not sure how it calculates but i think its too good to be true
Ive accidentally left some strategies at "Market open" as well and seen great profits, i'm not sure if we can place bets right at the market open though?
i am trying to set BFBM to bet on market open and test it

results for only backing FAV3 no other filters, £1 stake -

Edit: thinking about this if you have the favourite rule as part of your strategy and have earlier entry times it will artificially increase the profits. The reason is we don't know what the fav is until the off so we won't be able to bet on it accurately hours before the race

I changed the number of runners from 5-19.
Then I started changing the entry time, firstly to 10 seconds like @John-Folan then out of curiosity I started making the entry time earlier and earlier before the "off". Weirdly enough the earlier the time the more this system makes?! I set it to 5 hours before the off and look at the results:

I'm forward testing my strategies and I am finding that some horses that were not on my list are showing up in the results when I run the strategy the next day. I thinking it must be a change in the going of the track as it may have changed from when I downloaded the selections.
When does everyone download their selections? I have been doing in the night before, but I guess I should do it in the morning.

Don’t think you are far away with this one. Figures will be slightly different as a few favourites change in the last 10 minutes. I’m looking at it on an iPhone so will look again tomorrow now I’ve saved it. It’s still profitable at 10 seconds out to the tune of £500. Strike rate is about right as well.

Hi Guys, so this is my second attempt at a strategy. Ive just focused on backing favs in Maidens at certain courses, 10 mins before the off.
Seems to show profit of £674.86 but as before i would love it if someone could check my workings incase ive fluffed something.
You have put an extra 0 in the minutes part of the time 00:010:00 instead of 00:10:00 with it corrected I get £213.47 profit
