@ian-parry yeah does make me wonder if people are actually using the correct entry times or just downloading selections in the morning then wondering why they aren't the same at the start of the race.
For instance nearly every strategy will be odds dependent in it's selections, we know how much odds move even a few minutes before a race!
I understand the point your making but alot of us due to work and family committments etc, don't have a choice but to download the selections in the morning and place the trades at that point. I for one can not keep going into the software during the day,
It’s difficult. The only thing I can suggest is get a bot of some sort. Silly example but I do the qualifiers in the morning for my flat place. Load them in and if they slide inside the odds range in the last 11 minutes before a race they place the bet.
This also negates problems with runner numbers and other variables that can change. My results match the software pretty much exactly apart from slight price differences. (Couple of ticks either way).

@robert-h I have noticed this same problem, the individual results are not showing the same horses on the previous day upcoming selections. This makes me concerned for the whole software that the results are not accurate and im not confident on backing any strategy at the minute. I have sent an email to query this but still waiting on the reply
I checked back for the last few days and the list of selections my bot backed did match up with the selections in the individual trades.
I was under the impression that the software would choose selections based on the "horse selection rules" and following the rules in the "betting rules" section was up to our own execution of the bets. This makes sense since the software can't know in advance what the odds of the selection will be at the time of betting.
If this is the case then the number of selections will always be greater than or equal to the actual bets placed since there is more filtering to be done at execution time that the software can't know about in advance.
So comparing the list of selections pre race with the list of selections traded will always produce discrepancies and that would be expected as long as the selections traded is a subset of the pre race selections..

I think the results section is using the pace letter from the race you backed which it shouldn't as you dont know the result till race end so it doesn't display alot of the losing bets
It's not. It will look at the previous pace letters in races before the one being examined.
As always, I'm happy to investigate these and explain why those selections have appeared, but I need to know which of your saved strategies you're referring to and which horses you think are missing or are incorrect.
Please do not post that information here, because it will get lost. Please use the support button in the software.

People doing the Pace letter strategy are you's noticing the results in the software its not displaying all the horses you would of traded in the individual trade section. on the 30th there were 16 horses that was in the price range that the software put as qualifiers but now I look in the individual results in the software there is only 1 horse backed.
I think the results section is using the pace letter from the race you backed which it shouldn't as you dont know the result till race end so it doesn't display alot of the losing bets

@ian-parry have you asked on the asana form? if not please do: https://form.asana.com/?k=V4sICWddOgH3CMQ96g0XSA&d=1120854233877885

I have a question about the software. When I choose just two rules - Handicap race and favourite as shown below, when the strategy is run it shows around 12000 trades.
However when I remove the favourite rule and add the handicap ranking rule set to 2 as shown below, it only picks up about 5 trades.
Shouldn't this be about the same? Since there is one favourite per handicap race and 1 horse should be ranked 2nd by handicap per handicap race (as there must be at least 2 horses).
One posibility is that if there are two horses with 0 weight they would both be ranked 1 and the next horse would be ranked 3, therefore no 2nd ranking. But I'd like to confirm this before I start creating strategies based on this.

@lee-woodman can i ask which ones you are testing lee, i have a looked at the results sheet and im going to look at testing 4/5 over 2 mints with £1 stakes when i get the software at the end of the month

@Adam can you cast your beady eye over this one when you get a chance? seems too good to be true.
It is. I just ran it on my phone. You can’t have an entry point of BSP when you need to know the horse has run in to lowest price x less than bsp. Would need to change entry point to after the race start to the race end. Plus you won’t know if the race had one qualifier or not until after the race has finished.

@dave-stubbings welcome! Certainly an attractive ROI you've found. My sense is it's too good to be true.
What is the rule which you set up? When the BSP is greater than the lowest price in-running (from when) * 10?
