Horse Racing Strategies Megathread

@nick-allan wrong thread but has this been resolved for you? everything working fine my end.

Yeah just to confirm the hard reset and clear cache button is a feature of some browsers, not a new button in the horse racing software.
You can also try pressing Ctrl + F5. This should refresh the page and clear its cache, but I noticed when I tried (in Brave browser) that it didn't work for some reason.

@martin its on all of them mate if you have access your end
I think it's probably the browser.
Try it on Chrome (Adam built it for that one) or Firefox (Works fine for me on it).
Here is a pic to show I've just run it with no issues:
-
@rick-watson what's the strategy name? I will check it out
-
@rick-watson try logging in and out, what browser do you use?

hi is anyone getting the message error undefined on previously good strats when they run them or is it just me
Angus had that on one of mine. Iād uploaded it before Adam changed the software. I then downloaded it again and posted on here and it worked fine.
So probably something to do with versions. Although reading your post on another thread I think I misunderstood what you meant. As Martin said I think you need to clear your browser cache

@john-folan Cheers for that mate this one seems to be working sound. Let the fun begin!!

@Angus-Macleod This is a re upload of the short odd lays. Hopefully this one works for you.

Then it's probably just the delay in Google Sheets recalculating the query formula.
I did a test yesterday and got the same as you, then later when I came back to the sheet it had populated. Now, if I change the name of the sheet to something random, it still shows the old results because it hasn't recalculated yet.
The "query" formula doesn't update instantly like some formulae do. You also need to make sure the data in the Raw Data tab doesn't use mixed formats in its columns (e.g. some cells that are dates and some that are plain text).
There will be other ways of achieving the same thing in any spreadsheet app, it was just supposed to be an example of how to chop the data up if you need to.

@mrs-h-m-price Sounds like the name of the tab you've created doesn't match the name of any of the strategies in the "Raw Data" tab. There can also be a time delay for Google Sheets queries to refresh.
No I've definitely double and triple checked that.

It didn't work for me either, and I copy and pasted the strat name to be sure it was identical.
