@dan-mackinnon looking to lay all at 1.5 odds
-
@svajunas-bernotas-0 Yeah, it'll be dependant on your entry rules
-
is it possible to backtest LTF on stats software, cant get my head around it
-
I've had another read of Lay The Field that @John-Folan recommended. The author states the 3 most important filters are course, no. of runners and distance. From his testing going, favourite price, etc. didn't make much of an impact. He also includes all the results based on runners and distance for each course.
The issue I have is that there seems to be quite a difference on each course. I might have to make a "short course" and "long course". I'm a horse racing novice and making this based off the information in the book so happy to be corrected

@keith It's easy to do in Bet Angel, bfbotmanager, Marketfeeder Pro.
-
@john-folan thanks in advance mate

@dan-mackinnon ok nice one cheers mate
If you two have Kindle Unlimited there is a cracking lay the field book by Roger Kemp. He’s got all his filters in there. Might help you out.
I used that book as the basis of the strategy. There’s been a few updates to the software since then so wanted to see if that changes anything.

ive just started to look at the software and wanted to mess around with it a bit to gain a feel for it and thought maybe a simple lay the field filter to start with, but it doesnt seem possible to create. has anyone found a way of doing this, just to point out im clueless with horses lol
Think @Dan-MacKinnon has

Awesome @Keith-Driscoll - quick question. What do you do DOB-wise when the odds are below 2.0?!
This is S&F. I just set it to DOB at any price, if it happens to be odds on, then it is automatically a win bet. That doesn't matter. i just keep things as simple as possible. No need to overcomplicate things.
