Re your strategy of laying horses that placed on 70 percentage of previous runs. How many runs are you looking at?

@martin I set up a reverse strategy last night trying to capitalise on horses that have won their last race(s) and hoping the odds for the next race are artificially lower off the back of their recent form and laying them. Now just to fine tune it

theory is that if they don't win that often they shouldn't be such short odds

Having watched Martins video I started on a variant of laying beaten favs. Overall profit rating of 1.6 but a small negative on the expectation score despite overall profit looking good
I’ll be honest mate. If the ROI is decent and the strike rate correct for the odds ranges I’m targeting I ignore all that other stuff. Don’t get too caught up in turning it all green. Profit/ROI/Highest Bank Drawdown and Strike rate being nicely above what it should be to make a small profit is what I tend to value most.
