Automation and multiple strategies for one game
-
Hi guys,
New around here but impressed so far with the content.
One of the main reasons I joined was to get inspired of your strategies and be able to use them for profits using betting sofware (bot placing the bets).
I saw in a youtubevideo from betfair trading community that it was advised NOT to trade mulitiple strategies on the same match, due to confusion and unable to keep an overview of your trade.
If I use betting sofware the idea is that my betting is fully automated, so that should fix this issue right? So I should be able to use the "Over 1,5 goals (Ryan split stakes) and Second half goal (Gary's SHG) on the Bournemouth game tonight, right??
Or are there other reasons not to implement multiple strats on the same game? Thanks for your thoughts/feedback on this.
Cheers. -

I see your point but if each strategy is suppose to be profitable then that should all even out right? Some games you loose double up and others times you win double up. With bankroll management it should not be a problem right?
Or am I missing something else? This is correct but your variance will be big, so be prepared for that !

somebody with more experience than me could answer better, but i guess if you reduce stakes so you're only using 1 point split between 2 strategies is ok, if thats what you mean?

Its probably more to do with limiting losses. If you have a few strategies on a game that finishes 0-0 you could take more losses than your comfortable with
