@ryan said in Members Filter - Under 3.5 Goals - Another EASY Football Trading Strategy for 2022 (Betfair):
If you've not seen the video its here (if you have seen it, watch it again on mute repeatedly so that my video beats @Martin, deal?)
@Ryan Carruthers can you confirm for me please that you are talking about laying in the Under 3.5 Goals Market and not the OV 3.5 Goals market, because you talk about both in the video and I'm confused as to which market to do
Thanks
-
@james-menhenitt Nice!! How did you get on in the end even with the jinxed game?
-
@ryan Amazingly, I did jinx it - goal just gone in, so following the video for the one goal issue

Me too , any chance you could walk us through the exact scissors and pasting of
this 0_1645177938217_filter-settings-2.txtagain again Ryan? It looks great as a strategy!
Cheers mark -
@james-menhenitt I found the same, then thought hey why don't I switch this around and just get all the data then have a look.
wow so 16 winners in a row?
-
@ryan Thanks very much for the detail! I did wonder if it was something like that, as my version produced very limited results!!
It did really well for me last night. 13-0 (with 2 that scored before the lay time arrived!) and 3-0 so far tonight.
Thanks for the suggestion - it's a great one so far.

@james-menhenitt hey buddy!
Never a dumb question here, so it’s each to their own when building this filter and that’s one of the great things about trading loads of ways to profit.
Here’s my thinking why I set it that way. If I set it with a number I’d miss out on trades, this for me has been used on many games without too much emphasis on pre game stats, hence why I built it that way as I can just export this sheet and then any games that meet the criteria I can just check on the sheet and see how many goals there were, if there were a lot I can swerve it, if not many I can enter.
By going greater or equal to zero, we have games that have no goals and games that have goals - it gives a very quick way of seeing which games have a lot of goals or not many.
Hopefully that helps?

Hi, this might be a dumb newbie question, but why are the filters picking up greater than 0 as well as equal to zero for 0-10mins and 10-20mins?
Wouldn't that be picking up games that actually have had goals scored in those times as well as those with no goals?
When I built one, I selected overall goals 11-20 < 1. It's obviously a far smaller number - is that why you selected the ones you did?
Was also thinking about adding a starting price for O3.5MG that would be most likely to drift into the range we need.
Thanks!

@ian-wylie thank you for helping the guys here matey
-
@ian-wylie thank you thats great Ian.
A big help mate -
Worked for me too. You might want to also add another criteria that a certain amount has already been matched on that market. You need liquidity for this to work otherwise you could lose money having to cash out at the odds difference.
-
@ian-wylie worked fine for me also

@gary-brown Hi Gary, I've just tried this and it worked ok. Are you able to open the .txt file? If so then you should see some thing like the screenshot below. You need to copy that including the curly brackets at the start and end and then paste them into the window in the import from file section and click Import (2nd screenshot)
Hope that helps
-
i will take a look tomorrow and see if i can do the same

maybe its me lol. I cant seem to get anything up with a copy and paste the link into the import section.
I had the same issue Gary, I just created a filter based on the Video content, if that helps. I've also added that criteria to my own OV/U 3.5 filter too.
