Set & Forget Football Strategies

Can anyone tell me how the Martin Over 1.5 goals strategy should be used? When Should I enter?
-
@nick-allan yeah of course and you want to keep an eye that it is variance and not just a bad strategy. Set and forget will always be more wild in swings than trading, such is the nature of letting a full stake run,
-
@martin yes I agree but in looking at the selections I can’t see any reasons why they shouldnt have been successful. On the basis of the pre match stats and having something to play for I’d take the trades again. The only one that maybe might have been a good bet was an away lay where the AT wEre 1st and the away team were 6th but again I’ve had that before and the trades been successful. Sometimes teams don’t perform, like Chelsea last time they failed to score in 4 games was 1993, and just look at that squad. Sometimes variance is just variance
-
@nick-allan the other thing I would suggest is to research the games yourself before betting on them, or at least having a quick look at recent form to confirm they are games you want to trade. Especially as we come to end of season.

@greenie I'll get some videos done as I think they are good strategies for a base to search out value
Look forward to them

Made up some new strategies yesterday, based on match odds rather than goals to add some variety and see if we can find some gems like Tomasz Under 1.5 on the win/draw/win market, going to test them next few months.
Look forward to hearing about them, I was thinking about switching up the elo away lay and back the away team to see if that’s more profitable considering some have high odds. So it will probably be a lot of drawdown but when they win they will win big

variance
Yeah, It's just variance mate! 12 day's is nowhere near enough to make a judgment James.
Yeah think you are right, strange as the 2 strategies haven’t performed this badly in ages but I guess variance can happen at any time. It could be an end of season thing as well but most teams still have 7 or 8 games left

Quick questions just to test the temp, how everyone April going? Mine was flying and it’s gone from 7 pts up to 11 down. Just wondered if anyone else is struggling? I’ve done a deep dive of the strategies and I can’t see anything in particular that causing this, so could just be variance?
Shocking for the set and forgets the last week, hopefully this period will now end and go on a decent run of winning trades to hopefully retrieve the month.
Yeah same, another loss today sadly

@nick-allan worth monitoring April/May for these reasons, good point you make there.

elo away lay is having a meltdown!!! such a strong strat the last 4 months thank god for Tom u1.5 lay, gutting to have been 8 points up and now back to scratch. Hating this weekend so im closing down the laptop and going to the gym.....if its open. I had no idea so many thing close on easter sunday
Yes same for me its been a disaster the last few days. So much so i will hold off trading this system for now. The gym is the best thing i find when you have a bad trading day , shame they are shut lol
its odd and thats why i want to continue and do a deeper dive at the end of the month, a few of the weekends elo away lay selections have been leagues where you have a promotions and relegation split so maybe that plays a factor? perhaps the home games have nothing to play for? although the one today the HT is in a relegation fight so you would have thought they would play better, but no lost 4-1
-
@james-everard if the gym's shut I find a long solo walk helps just as well to clear the mind!
