    @Jonathan-West Like I said, don't expect that purely from this filter alone.

    @Jonathan-West This one of my LTD filters

    filter-settings.txt

    Be aware though I don't use it as a standalone, I use it in combination with some calculations from the Football Ratings and also other Over X Goals filters. But when it has been part of the selection process and I've ended up actually Laying the Draw, its 130 out of 146 (89%)

    Morning all - I'm having a look at the well trodden path that is LTD today. I haven't traded this before so thought I would try to create my own on the software, but struggling if I'm honest. Does anyone have any decent filter ideas they would recommend?

    I thought I would start by looking at the members LTD strategy and have seen that the LTD individual trade log on the spreadsheet isn't there any more. Is this because it hasn't performed well? Also, the LTD member's filter doesn't have any selections today on the software, but the daily email suggests there are 2. Is the emailed 'LTD at kick off strategy' a different strategy with different filters to the one in the members area? if so, how do I find them?

    im currently working on analysis a large number of strategies that I have paper traded for some time and a lot of these are set and forgets, and I’m happy to share once I’ve done all the analysis.
    But guys please lets keep it civil here, we all have one goal and I’m happy to help anyone who struggling. Let’s learn together.

    @Jonathan-West Has helped me look at the lay away selections in very different way this is going to help me narrow my selections down when I go live with that strategy……………….. That’s what we need to see

    Trade safe guys and yes these are not tips but ideas, you need to put in the work

    On a separate note who else is loving the americans getting a spanking in the ryder cup!

    @Martin

    It's absolutely not you mate to be clear

    I am notorious for jumping into things with two feet. The type of bloke to start building an ikea chair without reading the manual

    As I said you've built here what I've dreamed of doing.

    @Thomas-Francis-Gill it's probably our fault, it's been very difficult to build this community thread where we share strategies that have worked for us without making them seem like 'tips'. People are getting confused about this a lot even though we do try to make it very clear. This will never be a tipping service, just to clarify, we have no interest in that type of thing, we are a training and software company through and through.

    @Greg-Mitchell

    I've added a whole new paragraph now as I wasnt being antagonistic at all but was replied to as such by you

    The 3 lads you've tagged to get their attention to this have done an amazing job at what they've created

    I've waited for people like them to come along for 20 years. So let's not get it twisted

    @Thomas-Francis-Gill you know what thought did? Interesting that you added some” nice”emojis to your original post..

    I’m sure the good guys @Adam @Martin @Ryan must get sick of people expecting to make money with no effort, but are far too polite to say so.

    You get what you put in…it has been invaluable to me and many others.

    And by the way, I am not using a single BTC preset strategy, but the value of being here and not expecting is priceless.

    Nicely done. I'm going to leave the S&F for now and go back to the trading for a bit I think until I can work out a smoother filter for it

    @Greg-Mitchell

    No I just thought the selections were the selections

    It's actually way more dissapointing to see comments like yours which are more at home in the hideous betfair forums

    I've absolutely no desire to get into a slanting match mate so you crack on

    @Andrew-Dobinson lay over 3.5 is based on the lay under 1.5 (I reverse engineered it for that market) so it already had set parameters.

    Yes that's what I'm doing with lay away, defo the way to go.

    @Nick-Allan agreed! I now fix my liabilty to 1% of bank roll rather than a fixed stake and it's working well on lay away 1.0. I also disregard any fixtures that have teams close together in the league. my final filter is to not select teams with away odds lower than either the draw or home odds. I've only implemented these from 29th of August but it seems to be helping with volatilty a lot. It's £74 up on £15 liability selections so far. fingers crossed this continues.

    @Martin To get 2k results over a year is it best to start with loose filters first, then start tighten up when you see a pattern emerging? Is that what you've done with the lay away? Did you not do this with the Lay O3.5 strategy? Looks like Lay O3.5 will only have 300 results in the first year.
