@nick-allan one I would want to test more and maybe tweak settings, I don't advise investing in this strategy personally at this point
oh im paper trading it, been doing for 4 months and agree at the moment not good enough to take live, but i have been recently looking at it 2 ways with laying o3.5 but that in the very early days of testing

@terry-heller You need to open the spreadsheet to anyony with a link. At the moment I think you only have it set to yourself.
Ahh could you tell me how to do that please?

I wouldnt touch any of the lower english leagues with my over 1.5
-
@chris-king I have made a copy of the sheet with the calculations so it might be wise to check my calculations and useful for me to know too if I have made any errors

@terry-heller Would 98 Saturday games be enough to assume a long term profit could be made by laying them ?
I am glad you asked because when I checked the count i have double that number so i must have messed up with the copy and pasting.
Doing it right my figure now comes out at half what i said which is still quite impressive though a touch embarrassing that i made the mistake.Half is £187.76 for 98 games? I’d say that was damn good profit

@sean-fitzgerald Very interesting. I have my theories about Saturdays or weekends quite often. The UK Sat 3pm too which i now avoid if only to reduce the volume.
One test I’m doing turned out to be better without weekends at all. Less trades, better ROI.
If i have a gut feeling about something relating to a strategy I try to look in to it too as it can sometimes really change things for the better as you’ve found here -

Using Pauls spreadsheet with Saturdays filtered into a group of their own laying with a liability of £10 would have produced a profit of £375.53
I have just used the back odds from the sheet but assume that these would be a fair comparison. -
Out of interest, is it just the Saturday games or is it certain leagues not performing well? In my goal strategies most of the English leagues haven’t performed well and as most of their games are on Saturdays that could also be a reason.

With Saturdays at bottom of Doc -

I wonder if it is possible to just list the saturday games seperately and do a 'what if ' comparison of how that day would have performed by laying the unders rather than backing them.
