@james-rome finding it hard to determine what trades to take as it seems prematch stats need to go out the window, but im a prematch trader so its difficult to do that. Im paper trading a few stats at the moment, they are doing particluarly well........isnt that always the way
If in doubt paper trade ... could be varience this year will be very strange because of the world cup. the hard work will pay off
yeash i agree, im struggyling at the moment so think its right to paper trade and go back to basics, of course varinace plays a key and i cant see anything else being the issue apart form the WC which we havent had in winter before

Jong PSV Eindhoven 0-1 Almere City, wow the stats on this pre match were so so strong, have no idea where the goals are at the mo. Its amaizng that ive stopped the scandanvian leagues due to weather conditions and the fact they are coming to an end and it seem they are flying in......emoji eye roll
i know i thought this was nailed on watched some of it looked both teams didnt look sharp

Hi @Martin,
Do we have the filter for Dan's LTD so that I can add it to my saved filters.
I am looking to combine all the goals filters to see if I can establish any trends and I can't seem to find this one.
Thanks

Hi all,
My stakes at the minute are £25.
So when I lay, the liability is more like £100 on the Lay under 1.5.
However on the back strats that I do, I still only stake £25. Meaning that on my under 3.5 and over 2.5, I am winning back less than the £25 for winners.
Should I be matching the same risk as my Lay under 1.5. So on my backs, do I stake higher to win £25 if it comes in? Is it just about risk appitite?
Thanks
Presuming you want to keep your trades/risk even on both backs and lays, your lay trade should be to a "Liability" of £25 ! Meaning that your maximum risk whether backing or laying is £25. Your lay stake (and amount you'd win) then depends on the price
Using £100 as an example ....BACK at 1.5 = £100 stake (£100 risk). Back at 3 = £100 stake (£100 risk)
LAY at 1.5 = £200 stake (£100 risk) LAY at 3 = £50 stake (£100 risk) -
@fraser-cord Id say whatever you decide then just do the same thing and stick to it.....it should even itself out longer term! If you start trying to be too cute about it then you can end up kicking yourself for making the wrong call, however, if you follow the process then its easier to take a loss

Cheers @Lee-woodman . Yeh I'm not checking all day, just comparing whats come up on the filter to what Martin actually went for when I came home tonight. Noticed the Denmark game met the criteria so wondered whether it's worth getting on as the odds were lower this morning so excluded.
Been burned a few times recently so trying to scale back my selections each day. Turned out to be a dud so clearly leaving was the correct call. -
@fraser-cord I think if its a 'set and forget' selection then you have to find something that is efficient and scaleable. Checking the odds multiple times becomes a bit of a hassle when there are a few games / strategies / selections. I would suggest checking at a certain time and going for it if it qualifies or leaving it if not

@Martin , and Forum, what's your take on backing a selection that is not on your daily email.
For example the Denmark Div 1 game starting soon had odds below 1.25 this morning when you made your selections. Say it rises to 1.25 before K/O, would you suggest backing if all the other criteria is met i.e. number of games to go in season etc.
I leave them but up to you really!

@martin With this LTD strategy, is it still set and forget or would you cash out after a goal. Is it not risky if it was 1 0 with 1o mins to go?
Also, as I am new to this forum and there is so much content, is there a way that I can find my posts to see if they have been replied to?results are based on set and forget so you dont trade out, how you trade then is upto you. what ive found when i did a LTD at KO is that a lot of times the trade out value wasnt great and if the away team scored first it would be a loss for quite a while and then a very small profit and of course if the home team equalise the loss could be significant if late on in the game. You need a fair size bank with this strategy and be prepared for big draw downs. My advice keep stakes small and compound monthly
