Assume you have removed Serie A, so may be it’s down to time of the day and what the odds were at that point

Basically what u said here 😀

Yeh and reconfirmed that Serie A is indeed included in the filter

Yes I noticed this too. I think when martin sent the email out the italian game didn't qualify due to the odds being 1.29. Later in the day it dropped into the filter because the odds went out to 1.3. I backed it after looking more into the teams stats.

@martin Yeh so today on the u3.5, I had two come up. One was the South African game and the other was the serie A game tonight. Both using the same filter in the profitable members section.

Assume you have removed Serie A, so may be it’s down to time of the day and what the odds were at that point

@andy-donnelly for today only one selection popped up and that was on under 3.5, you can view the strategy by clicking edit strategy and see the leagues used

Has there been any league filtering done on Martins O1.5 and the under 3.5 strats?

Just checking the master results sheet and the qualifiers significantly vary from the ones I have recorded so interested to understand why. I do follow the same rules and odds ranges.

@chris-osborne I was thinking of doing the same. The filter seems to provide a nice amount of selections.

Afternoon all. I was wondering if anyone is Trading Dan’s Lay The Draw? (not set and forgetting) and tracking the results?

@martin does with all the set and forgets see the results sheet on the thread. It took a downturn earlier this month mainly due to 90 minute equalisers in Serie A

Ah yes but was wondering if anyone is trading the selections, as in exiting when there is profit and tracking their progress

Apologies, I misunderstood your previous post. I’ve started doing so in the past few days, too early to be conclusive

regarding dans ltd there was a an 8 point loss in july, if it had been as popular then as it seems to be now there would have been the same worry and negativity. most strategies have a bad month or months add the world cup and as martin rightly points out the winter months then variance will no doubt rear its ugly head. martin is right a years data gives the whole picture but you could also drop down in stakes or paper trade until confidence rises, this goes for all strategies.

    Exactly this!

@martin thanks I will wait until there is a years date. It’s a shame as it did quite well last month. Although I did note the last 3 losers were all because of a 93rd minute equaliser.

I think the World Cup has had an effect plus I think the colder months can produce less goals.

@dave-tancock I would leave it this month at least, probably wait for a years data myself now, eliminate bad times of year and bad leagues

@martin given dans LTD is struggling a lot this month, would you suggest keep going for now in the hopes it’s a bad run or leave it until more testing has been done?

@greg-mitchell hows this looking profit and loss wise

This is from the 1st October for Over 1.5 and Over 3.5, 1st Dec for the Draw:

But bear in mind that I haven't necessarily been using the same tactics throughout, I started off Set & Forget, but have now changed to trading out on all 3 Strategies if I can at a Green Up profit of 10% of my Liability (for Lays) or Potential Profit (for Backs).

I am just in the process of backtesting them all so that they are all the same either all S & F or all Traded Out.

@chris-osborne indeed chris, i might start looking at time of goals on the strategy to see if it worth coming out at 70, 80 min? i think some people have been looking at that, you might have as well i believe but ive been all over the place lately with this horrible flu

I'm thinking of using the same approach as Ryan's Betgreen which defeats the object of a S&F strategy but protects the bankroll
