With strategies that have a minimum odds and you get a game that is below these odds at the start of the game is it ok to put an order in the market and let it go in play in the hope it gets matched?
For example on an o1.5 strategy the minimum odds are 1.20 and a game comes up on the filter that is 1.17 is ok to put in the order for 1.2 and let it go in play

@chris-osborne guess only time will tell! Defo something in these combined filters though, the logic is sound in that there must be a reason multiple filters are picking up the same matches.

@richard-egan Adam made a formula using the same principles, it is fascinating stuff and in particular the laying the away team when home team is 2.1 or below on that filter has been fantastic for close to a year now.

It's specifically a chess ranking devised by someone with that name to rank chess players. It has been adopted now in many other sport.

Is there anywhere I can get the filter for Dan's LTD to add to my software? I got one from the thread for Dan's strategy but the filter pulls up different games to what is being posted.

Hi @Martin, the other day I was following the Tomasz' U1.5 Lay strategy. The Ind. de Valle v U. Catolica met the criteria but the odds weren't suitable at $4.50 lay odds. I put in a lay at $3.00 and after the game had finished at 4-0 I checked betfair to see the bet had been match. My question is, if my bet was unmatched, would it remain in the system even after the match has started? I.e. could it become during the match? Or would it be nullified once the match starts?

@michael yeah that will happen because the odds to qualify are so close and it is the same filter barring the odds. I would check the odds, if below 2.1 I do the ELO Home strategy for it, if not and odds are between 2.1-2.18 I tend to remove it from both, if 2.2+ I use ELO AWAY
