@chris-osborne indeed chris, i might start looking at time of goals on the strategy to see if it worth coming out at 70, 80 min? i think some people have been looking at that, you might have as well i believe but ive been all over the place lately with this horrible flu

Looking at Dan's LTD it's interesting to see possible effect of mid-season World Cup, Serie A was 9pts up before World Cup, since the World Cup it is 18pts down!
yeah loads of draws this month in that league, im still paper trading it to get an idea iof performance and potential drawdowns
Last minute equalisers in that league alone were brutal

I am keeping track of how the Filters perform when they have been allocated to one of my three main strategies and the points per filter alters accordingly, this is how it stands at the moment.
So, the left hand column is the filter from the Software, then which Master Strategy I have allocated it too. The Total is the number of trades that I have done using the Main Strategy that were identified by the filter, so for example the BTC - Martins Over 1.5 Goals - Backs has been used 161 times in my Back Over 1.5 Master Strategy and has been successful 133 (83%) of those.

@greg-mitchell key is that the strategies are good ones, if you put three bad over 2.5 goals ones together then they are unlikely to be good for over 2.5 goals for example. I do have a combined strategy for goals, it’s great for late goals especially but not many picks at the moment.
-
@greg-mitchell I personally don’t but I do like the thinking. There’s a perverse danger that the selections you end up with are so strong that the outcome is almost expected and the odds reflected accordingly
The good thing is you can test which is the most profitable way. If you compare the results of the refined list compared to the complete list over say 300 games then you will see whether it’s better or not. Also, if you can find a way to do this test but with flexibility in how you’ve refined it then that may help. You may say ‘well the refined list was better than the standard list however the could’ve refined it better by using x criteria instead of y’

Just wondering, does anybody else use multiple filter combinations to generate selections? I have 22 different filters set up, which includes most of the presets plus a number of my own. I have set up a spreadsheet into which I export all of my filter selections every day.
I have then allocated each of the filters according to one of 3 main strategies (Back Over 1.5, Lay Over 3.5 and Lay The Draw), so for example of the above BTC Strategies, Martins Over 1.5, Tomasz Under 1.5, The BTTS one and the Over 2.5 Goals one are all allocated to the Back Over 1.5 Strategy.
I then have formulas to give each filter a score based on its success rate, so above 90% gets 3 points, 85% to 90% gets 2 points, anything else gets 1 point.
The selections I eventually do, need to match a minimum number of filters and/or a minimum number of points, currently it is 3 filters and/or 5 points.

Nice to see all these doing well over the year.
Ive taken a quick look at the over 1.5 and noticed 16 losers in lower league english games
I'll do a league update in mid feb when I have a year of data on that strategy

@dave-tancock 1.65+ strategy not been great though so monitoring it for now
-
With the BTTS set and forget, I’m not seeing anything about the odds parameters. Can I ask what they are. Sorry if I’ve missed something obvious.
-
Hi all. Are the African leagues ok to use for the Tomasz over 1.5 goals. Thanks
-
@nick-allan I c thanks

Hi, on the tomaz lay under 1.5 do you need the correct odds pre kick off or can you wait after kick off to get the correct odds?
if its say 3.7 i would trade it with a 3.5 odds offer and select keep on BF as its close to the max, but anything north of that i leave it. You would be amazing how fast odds come down after kickoff, its literally take 2 mins to match
