FHG is one id like to crack. I traded it for about a year profitably but covid destroyed it and i never got back into it for some reason
Huge value to be had in that market aswell
-
I've been working on a couple lately but they're just breaking even and need more tinkering with, they are possibly too simplistic. I have also been tracking the BTTS strategy as a BTTS NO since last month and early on it looks interesting.
+4.74 units in February after 48 picks
+7.11 units in March so far after 18 picksObviously far too early yet to see if there is anything in this as I know it has been profitable as a Yes strategy some months and at one point in Feb is was down 7.1 units but will keep tracking for now.
Pretty sure someone else has said they were tracking this as well, but just thought I'd mention it. -

Is or has anyone been working on their own set and forgets, that could potentially be added to the list? if they passed Martins seal of approval of course,,
I started to test a FHG filter last year and started retesting again the other day. Solar its at 72% with only 69 selections so far. not put any money on it just looking at what would win and what wouldn't. I will eventually look at dripping stakes in to get better odds value.
-
yeah Dave its around 13 points up for the month so far, but the variance with it seems wild,, its not for the feint hearted lol.
-
@john-malloy was wondering how dans Ltd was doing. Not gonna touch for a bit after January though

@jon-kinnear Yeah its been smashed in January, just when i started using it, only to pound stakes though , but still 40 down in no time,, just monitoring it for now...

I dont think many people will touch it after it lost 40 points in January, think the ROI dropped below 1% aswell.

@andy-donnelly enough for me to drop it, easy to save a copy with the league in if you want to in your own filters
-
@andy-donnelly yep leagues are monitored and there was an update after a year of testing

Everyone whos using the 1.5 should track it and work out which leagues they can get rid of like chris mentioned. Ive just had a look at an old spreadsheet that has it running at 84% over 750 games.
I still use the filter for my current trading but with mainly the main European leagues.
I now have the H2 avg at 1.8 as it lets me re enter for SHG at a high 80s strike rateThis is great advice!

@chris-osborne weirdly I’ve had more profit with under 3.5 than over 1.5 goals
Have you been using the original filter or the newer one with U3.5 at over 85% home and away?
I've being using it very selectively lately and had a good run with it, but from mid jan when i started using it it was pretty bad....and the thing with backing at those odds you only need 3 or 4 to go against you and your profits are wiped.
I used the 85% filter the weekend, 2 selections....salford scored in the 96th minute to make it 3-1, & AEKAthens went 0-3 up with 30 mins to go so I cashed out only for it to finish 0-3, so I'm going to pick selections very carefully but will probably mean only a few selections per week. -

@andrew-bannister Are you still trading the U3.5 - see Martin's original post, its not recommended yet
No I'm not. I was referring to the tomasz 1.5 goals laying at odds of under 3.5.
