Six nations

Not sure if anyone here dabbles in trading rugby, but interested in anyones thoughts on the six nations.
I think Scotland are big value at the weekend! I’d argue that Scotland at home and with the greater experience in the starting line ups should be marginal favs, so 2.4 looks big.
In the outrights think odds probably about right as expect France to win it but think there may be value in the grand slam price at 5.1! Home games against the next best two teams should be decisive advantage
-
Might lay France to win the world cup after that performance today. Odds of about 4 atm.
-
Annoyingly the first thought when I saw the prices was to lay England on the outrights but then I looked at the fixtures and thought that they could at least win the first two!
-
I thought it’ll be a close game so managed to get Scotland +8 on evens and England to win between 1-10 points at 2.75. Considering most of the game had 1 point in that last try was a right pain.
-
Oh yes indeed! Can’t win them all. Never thought England would win the six nations but didn’t see them losing to Scotland at home! Will keep money in now for a few weeks in the hope they beat Italy and wales and maybe get some of the loss back but not looking good

For anyone that follows rugby, going to do one pre tournament trade in the six nations outrights.
Backing England at 5.8 in expectation that they win their first two games and the two market leaders face off in week 2. Plan will then be to take liability out after week 2 and flip the money on a lay of England before their fixtures get trickier.
Looks like it got trickier yesterday Andy

Yeh in the end, England played better than I expected but they should never have been favourites
-
Thanks all, agree not an easy sport to trade! I layed England against Scotland yesterday before team news was confirmed and already in green, so may just remove liability before kick off for a small free bet.
On the outright or grand slam hopes for France, doubt odds will change much this weekend but if they were to beat Ireland as I expect them to then odds could shift enough after second game to remove liability
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Scotland won at the weekend as England have a few injuries and Scotland are at home in Merryfield... They're currently around 10.5, might be worth a back to lay to in case they pull off a win against England... Not for though, bigger fish to fry with the Football
-
Tough sport to trade really... Certainly for in play, not sure there'd be too much liquidity in play.
Maybe pick a 2nd or 3rd fav for title and look to trade it

no need to sugar coat it say it how it is

England are 4.7 to win and have Scotland, Italy and then Wales at home. If they can win those games their odds must surely come in and maybe enough to remove liability or cash out. Especially as France and Ireland would have already played each other by round 4 as well.
However, if England don't win tomorrow you'll expect their odds to shoot out and come back in after Italy?

@andy-donnelly I have dabbled and like you just look for value who will win trades rather than anything too complex
