Hi. Am new here and looking at the whole trading football games thing. I was wondering if there is anyone here who has been playing the Over 1.5 goals strategy (Ryan's Split Stake) for a while and can tell me the results? Let's say you play this strategy for 100 games with a basic stake of 10 units. What is the profit/loss after 100 games? Kind regards

@paul-foster said in The Over 1.5 Goals Strategy (Ryan´s Split Stake):

Quick breakdown of Ryan's Split Stake from Nov-21. There have been:

111 matches on filter (excluding postponed matches)
    58 goal scored before 30-mins
    53 0-0 at 30-min
    43 winning trades
    10 losing trades
    81.13% strike rate

    43 x 0.25= 10.75
    10 x 0.662= 6.62

    So 4.13 point up

    P

    Awesome thanks for this!

@eren-baris you will win more than you lose... You will trade leagues which convert at 80%

    80 x's 0.25 = 20
    20 x's 0.662 = 13.24

    Equals great strat 👍

@eren-baris Welcome to BTC... I haven't traded Ryan's filter for some time now, I tend to use my own Split Stake but if I'm not happy with inplay stats I might wait until 30mins and use Ryan's strategy 👍

You need to start measuring results from the filter with all the top leagues and then only trade the leagues which convert minimum 80%.

For example, if you recorded results from 100 traded English Premier league games and minimum 80 trades won then this league should be okay.

Ask @Martin if he has any up to date results you can check over 👍

@alan-steward You wrote that when you lose, the loss is greater than the gain when you win. Of course, the question arises whether it is profitable to trade the whole thing at all? Do you maybe have a win/loss percentage after say 100 games?

@alan-steward Thank you for the clarification. My English is not the best but I have understood it. I will then trade the games shown to me by the software on the site here. Or do you have your own filter for matching games? Warm greetings

@eren-baris think of your total Stake as a point... with Ryan's Split Stake you put 50% in on 30mins and then if still 0-0 you put the other 50% in on 50mins, you green up (cash out) on 1st goal or take red on 70mins if still 0-0.

So let's assume £20 total stake (we will call this 1 point) you back o1.5 goals with £10 on 30mins & back o1.5 goals with £10 on 50mins (if still 0-0).

On average after 1 goal you would make 0.25pts green or in this example £5 (£20 x's 0.25)

If you had to take red on 70mins (ie still 0-0) you would take 0.662pts red or in this example £13.24 (£20 x's 0.662)

Hope this helps to clarify things... Any questions fire away 👍

@eren-baris Hi Eren, I can help you here with Split Stakes... I trade daily, sometimes on my bot (automation software) or trade the bigger 6 leagues or so manually.

I'm not currently using Ryan's strategy as I have my own but they will give very similar long term results.

When trading Ryan's Split Stake you want to be trading the leagues which convert at 80%... ie for every 100 games on Ryan's filter for each specific leagues 80 must have the first goal scored between 30 & 70mins.

When trading his Split Stake you should experience circa 0.25pts green (average) and 0.662pts red (average)

It's a great filter and very profitable... Enjoy
