Newbie Question

Hey everyone,
Quick Question: Hypothetically, if I decide that my maximum risk/loss is £15 per trade and I am using the SHG strategy - Do I place the Back bet/trade at £15 or do I use a higher value and cut the loss at £15 if that SHG is not scored by that time?
I imagine that winners could be bigger but fewer in number as a goal could come in the last 10mins of the game?
What's your thoughts on this?
Thanks

@john-coulter good response from Liam there and I would say only exit a SHG if you feel there is a good reason too, for instance does your data suggest there won't be a late goal? For me I tend to let them run.

if you are placing a back bet for 15 then that is your total risk, on a lay bet the liability will be your risk so you would need to adjust accordingly. as for cutting the loss for me personally on a shg trade I'm in until the end as there are just too many late goals. if you were to paper trade a shg strat then you would see that staying in is more profitable but everyone trades differently so only trade within your comfort zone, hope that helps.
Liam thats a very good point you make matey, some leagues do produce a lot of SHG.s but that is the unpredictable nature of football.
