Hi @John-Folan do you think we could adjust your TROB bot to use the selections for the Back to Lay strategy?

    Hi John

Ive developed a strategy that is looking promising but profits are best when bet placed 'When Market Opens'. What time to bet should I use on Bf Botmanager as there doesnt seem to be a 'When Market Opens' option ?

    Thanks

Sometime the night before is the general answer. I’ve never run a market open strategy

Read the first post on both threads.

@David-Polkey If you are trying to lay Under 1.5, the selectionId should be 1221385. The Id you currently have is for backing over 1.5

@James-Menhenitt You can set up two separate hedge rules with score lines set in the "Sport Specific Settings".

So the first would hedge to break even at scores of 1-0 or 0-1, the second would hedge at 2-0, 0-2 or 1-1.

@David-Polkey Yes it looks fine to me, but without more information as to what is not working exactly I can't be of more help.

@James-Menhenitt look at post 2 on this thread at the Ryan split stake bots, there are two bots for this strategy.

You should be able to adapt these to do what you want.

@James-Menhenitt it'll be pretty difficult to do with just one bot - you might have to separate the hedging parts out into different bots. Eg something to the effect of "If bot 1 has bet on this market and one goal has been scored, hedge out at X point"

    HELP!!! Driving myself crazy.....

I'm trying to do a bot that backs U2.5goals at KO, then

    1. if no goal, exit at 15m
    2. if 1 goal scored before exit, stay in until price matches entry and exit for that scratch trade
    3. if a second goal is scored before either exit point, just cry into the beer, and trade for a loss.

The first part, easy. But I'm at a complete loss with the other options. Is there any kind soul who can point me in the right direction?!

@David-Polkey Doesn't work in which way?

Have you loaded all possible Over 1.5 Markets into the "Markets" tab?

@simon-topper You need to set the Markets to auto load all Football markets that you might be interested in, So in this case you need to have every Match_Odds market already loaded otherwise the tips wont work.

@Greg-Mitchell So I have put those details in as I have been struggling as well. I get the following imported but it doesn't add them to the markets section.

This is for the lay away team strategy. Any Ideas?

@David-Polkey You need to have it structured like this:

    d715cb2c-10d9-4be6-b0a1-9fa3b8606081-image.png

    Where:

    Provider is the "Tipster"
Market Type will depend in which market you are using and has to be in Betfair format.
Event ID comes from Betfair, but will be downloaded with your BTC software selections or the Football Ratings
SelectioniD is the Betfair ID for the Market Type

    Common Selection ID's are:

    f4ce188d-5d3a-464a-919b-6fdae599843c-image.png

If you need other Selection ID's, I find the best way to get them is to use the BFBM Markets tab, add a selection for whichever Market Type you are looking at and then move the selection to your Tips, Then export the Tips to csv. (There may be a simpler way, but thats how I do it)

    Hi there

I'm new to the Betfair Trading Community and circumstances mean I can generally only trade via the BF Botmanager. I've followed this thread and have a number of horse racing strategies running and have succesfully exported selections following the guidance here. However, I'm struggling to export Football selections as I'm not sure how to structure the CSV file. Can anyone help?

    Thanks

@Joseph-Henderson This should help, I pulled this together for football, but the principles are the same.

BFBM - Auto Load from Google Sheets.pdf

That said, you should be able to use the url auto load to select the same horse. Works fine for me.

Does anyone have a quick way of importing the tips via google sheets when you have multiple strategies selecting the same horse? At the moment I am manually entering new rows and copying the horse details. Not a big issue but just seeing if there are any possible time savings. Thanks
