BFbotmanager Automation Discussion
-
I've started a new thread as the person who started the last one is no longer active. This software is becoming more widely used by traders of all sports. Ask any questions here and someone will help. I'll also try and keep the thread tidy by posting any tested bot files that people post in the first post(this one). I'll try and reference the post number where they were discussed as well.
This is a list of how columns need to be worded to import into Tips in Bfbotmanager from a csv file. You only need SelectionId or SelectionName and Provider. The rest are a waste of time. Note the spellings. They have to be exactly like that or your selections will not import.
GUIDES
This guide is on how to import selections from the BTC Horse Racing Software when the strategy has specific horses as selections. In this instance I will be using the Slow Horses Strategy as an example. So it is assuming you already have the Slow Horses Bot I posted the other day in your BFBotmanager. You will also need to autoload all the Horse Markets or make sure the ones you need have been selected on the markets page. I've just got an autoload set up for all UK and IRE markets. Easy enough to do.-
Run your strategy and export the upcoming qualifiers to a CSV file(it should default to this automatically).
-
Open the CSV file. Delete all but today's selections as BFbot more than likely won't have the markets available. You will need to insert a column at the start and title it "Provider" Then insert the name of the tipster you used under staking in your bot. In this case "Slow Horses". You will then need to rename the column titled horse_name as SelectionName". Every other column apart from those two can actually be deleted. I haven't bothered. Save your CSV(do not save it as an excel sheet.) and close it.
-
Then open the manage tips page and click "Import Tips From File"
-
Your page should look like this. That's it you are done.
BOTS
As always with any bots, test them yourselves on small stakes first. You can go as low as 1p. Simulation mode is a waste of time on bots where you need to trade out.
HORSE TRADING BOTS

-
Under Staking, click Bet Persistence and set it up like this.
-
Under Price Settings click Min/Max Selection Price and set it up like this. Note. You can only have a MINIMUM price for BACK bets and a MAXIMUM price for LAY bets. In this case it is 5.0 as that is the minimum I want to try to dob from for Slow Horses. Make sure you DO NOT have any price conditions under Selection Conditions or your bot will not work.

Hello all - I need some help from the community!
Have someone set up the Split Stake & LTD Betgreen by Ryan with Betfair Bot Manager?
I use my version of the methods but would find it easier if there is a complete setup to get hints on how to customize Betfair Bot Manager. If not I can get the coding job done by Betfair Bot Manager Team.
Cheers

@Martin-Webb Our software only currently covers the win market, so the Market ID published in your qualifiers URL is the win market one. The each way market will have a different market ID.
You'd need to be able to ignore the market ID in the tips URL and override it with the Each Way market ID in BFBM. The selection ID for each horse will be the same.
I don't know if you can do that unfortunately.
-
@Martin-Webb I'll tag @Adam on this one!

Can anyone help or advise please.
I'm running a horse racing strategy with imported tips from BTC.
I have the market i need set up on auto load on BF Bot (each way) - all works there.
The tips generated within the strategy load from BTC with no issues.
However, i want my strategy to bet within the Each way market.
But the auto loaded tips from BTC that show up in BF Bot on the Strategies, manage tips, tips form is showing the Win market under market type.
This obviosuly means no bets are being triggered.
If i change the market type i want to bet on within the market conditions in the strategy to the Win market, then it all fires as it should.
I can't find anywhere within either BTC or BF Bot to change the market type.
How can i change this from the win market to the each way market? -
Anybody integrated inplaytrading.com into BFBM, tried having a play about with it today, just wondered what others have experienced?
-
@Rick-Watson I'm not no

Thanks @Martin @Greg-Mitchell
I would like to set this BOT up so it drips in my stake at 3 intervals between KO and 30mins, can I just add the additional times to the ‘market conditions’ in the 1st part of this?
-
@Ricky-Simpson @Greg-Mitchell may be able to help with this
-
Hi guys,
I would like to adapt ‘Ryan’s split stake’ BOT above, but want to get my head around its settings.
The BOTs already have ‘back by favourite position 2’ in place, what is this criteria doing?
If I manually select the game/market I want to bet in the markets section and add ‘bet on my selection’ do I need to remove the back by favourite position criteria?
-
-
@Ricky-Simpson brilliant! their customer service is really good in my experience and worth contacting if unsure about things, they know far more than me about their product
-
Thanks for coming back to me @Martin it’s been driving me mad!! I could get the BOT to fire before the off but the trouble was, the favourite order was changing around and I wasn’t on the correct selection when the race started.
Today, I’ve ended up downloading the filters above and managed to adapt the back the favourite strategy to do what I want, and it’s firing as I want it to.
-
@Ricky-Simpson there is a rule option to just take SP not sure about it inrunning though
-
Can anyone help me on my bot setup.
I’m trying to set it up to take the SP of a given runner by its fav position as it goes into play. Is it possible to take SP in running? If I follow the steps above in the opening post to set the price target, and set the time of bet to 1sec in play, will this work?
Thanks in advance for any help
-
@Greg-Mitchell That's great Greg. Have got everything except the tipster bit right. Will try that. Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly.
-
@Helen-M-M-Black These are my market conditions in BFBM
As you will see I only place the bet if there has been between 1 and 3 goals in the first half, thats juts my preference, you can do away with that if you like.
The important setting is the bet on next over/under market.
You then need to have all the over/under markets loaded that you could possibly want to bet on, so in my case:
Over/Under 1.5 to 3.5
and you also need to have each market as a Tip as follows:
