@martin-walker I was feeling that myself recently but a couple of adjustments made have put it right back on the radar. Don't give up.

I know you don't like to look at individual scorelines too intricately but I truly believe that is the key.

Thanks, i was unsure wether constant profitable months was unrealistic or not.
30 days feels like a lot of time and work for no gain so its hard to tell when to start worrying and change things.

Every so often I have them, but as you know as I wont shut up about it I go quarterly. Break even is ok for me, the warning signs are back to back break evens or losses

Coming to the end of the month and im around break even, poor month for the filter/strategy.
Im trying to think longer term as its smashed profits for so long now but i have a question for the full timers/pros.

How often do you have months that lose or dont produce the profit youd expect?

@richard-latimer no i havnt delved that deep into each scoreline. Ive purposefully tried to keep the variables to a minimum

I found it made a huge difference when I did so may be worth looking into at some point. I know people say not to change stuff too quickly but when you're looking at odds of say 5-6 to lay then 3 losses may not seem a lot but it's a big enough sample in what you have to make back to break even.

Overcomplicating for the sake of it is pointless but when you can see a clear line on what has and hasn't been profitable why would you keep ploughing on just to keep things simple?

@matt-wood i started out including all odds and have slowly increased my minimum. It went any, 1.2, 1.22 and now 1.23 and to be honest its a bit of data and a bit of an experiment each time

Min odds increased from 1.22 to 1.23

Quick question. Have you looked to see whether you can take lower odds on certain scorelines? I personally found 0-0 to be unworkable in many scenarios. One of which was odds below a certain point.

When goals have already been scored though, I am able to go much lower.
