Just closed out for 5 points profit with Tsitsipas taking the first set of Djokovic. Happy with my outrights for both men and women’s.

Only one trade today and for a change was on the right side of a second set retirement. Laid Boulter after she won the first set but she retired after 2 games of the second. The first set they we're trading breaks. Won't turn down 1.6pts profit

Disappointing day yesterday lost a pt each in France and Nottingham. French was mainly in the first sf. Unfortunately, wasn’t able to trade Sakkari match for work reasons which had so many swings and but was an incredible game.
Men’s sf’s today - Zverev v Tsitipas and Djokovic v Nadal. I’m expecting a Tsitipas v Nadal final which is good news for Zverev and Djokovic. Both games have the potential to go all the way but they could also quite easily be won in straight sets

@chris-osborne Zidane match was a cracker today! I've noticed when the comms think the tide has turned and the set/or match is over there would often be a good laying opportunity on the fav, so often in WTA the players just turn their game on and off at the switch of a button!
Tend to watch without the commentary might be worth looking out for.
1pt profit on both quarters it’s so much easier to trade when both players are interested which was not the case yesterday in three of the four matches.

Rubbish day today not helped by the complete lack of effort from Stephens, Kenin and Jabeur with a QF spot in a wide open grand slam on the line they should be embarrassed by there displays today.
Kostyuk v Swiatek could have potential if Swiatek losesthe first set.
Just over 2pt loss in French Open and half pt profit from Nottingham.
Probably the last day of trading the French Open tomorrow.
-
@chris-osborne Indeed, sad times really! There's been a few like this that I used to love to watch/trade.
I've found I'm less profitable at the slams!

Just under a two point profit today 60% from Nottingham and the rest PAris
French Open I took a 1pt loss on Zidansek v Cirstea when after a tight tiebreak 1st set I was expecting more of the same in the second so laid Zidansek and Cirstea basically collapsed and the trade got away from me before I knew what was happening. I'm dure Cirstea will regret that because there will never be a better opportunity to reach a grand slam final for any of the players remaining in the bottom half of the draw. Got that point back and into profit witht the Pavlyuchenkova and Badosa games. The PAv game from laying her in the first set after she went a break up and cashing out when Azarenka broke back. Most of the returns game from the Badosa v Vondrousova match which always looked like a three setter and so it proved. Laid Badosa after she took the first set removing liability when Vond broke in the second.I then leveraged that profit in the 3rd set laying Badosa when she broke in the second game cashing out when Vond broke back straight away.
I also left myself a free bet on Serena half way through the first set but that was as good as that got.
Nottingham we're a couple of lay 1st set winner trades for Ahn and Volynets. With the weal line up there, I think that will be a play I use a fair bit depending on game flow.
For tomorrow, the Stephens and Kenin matches are likely to be full of breaks of serve and definitely tradeable. For the Gauff and Swiatek games to be tradeable, they are both going to need slow starts and ideally Jabeur or Kostyuk respectively winning the first set. Jabeur may have a chance but I think Kostyuk might be up against it. Not only has Seiatek won the last 10 matches in PAris, she has not dropped a set in any of them.
-
@chris-osborne That one in Nottingham used to have a few bigger names over the years sadly not so much anymore!
Well played yesterday.
-
@chris-osborne 1.5 pts profit yesterday most of which came from Kenin v Pegula, and Linette v Jabeur.
Of the games mentioned, took a small loss on Svitolina, the Kostyuk and Gauff games didn't have any opportunities to trade and I had an entry point in Sakkari match but never got matched.
Of today's four matches, all look tradeable we'll have to see. There's also the first grass court tournament starting in Nottingham. Understanably the line up isn't great - Konta is top seed and Watson is also seeded which pretty much says everything. Will be reduced stakes in Nottingham if I do anything
-
Been a week where my trading has been sporadic at best due to work and not done anything fpr the past couple of days.
With the possible exception of Swiatek's game, all Women's games look tradeable today some close matches - will likely be laying first set winner in the following: -
Krejckova v Svitolina
Kostyuk v Gracjeva
Sakkari v Mertens
Gauff BradyFor the others will, if favourite loses1st set will also think about getting involved
Muchova, Kontaveit and Pegula also come up as players to back based on the Projected Holds strategy Ryan posted a few weeks ago
-
@chris-osborne I had to endure Sabalenka’s loss the MTO threw her at the end of the 2nd. Azarenka could well be a wildcard.
-
@james-woodroffe Sabalenka loses to Pavlyuchenkova which was always a trick game who knows th finalist in the bottom half - Pav has a chance as do Badosa and Williams, but wide open for anyone such as Azarenka and Zidansek who is playing well
Can’t see any of then beating Swiatek if she makes the final but who knows in this tournament what’s going to happen
-
@chris-osborne can’t not see Nadal v Djokovic and Zverev v Tsitsipas in seminal but Karatsev who I think is on the Zverev - Tsitsipas side might have something to say about that. Agree with the girls mate but yeah you never can tell but Ash being out opens things right up now for Swiatek to defend her title.
-
@james-woodroffe at the minute I can’t see anything other than a Swiatek v Sabalenka final in the women’s tournament. They’ll probably both lose there next. games now
Men’s a bit more wise open with nadal and Djokovic in same side of the drawer and Thiem and Rublev already out
-
4pm and beers after drawing the early out today. Shame to see Ash have to withdraw but the Sabalenka outright is looking good if she can reach a semi final. No trading as I can’t run the risk of getting caught (that doesn’t apply for cricket tho ) Women’s draw seems really open and hoping that Tsitsipas can also reach final 4 to make that outright give some green

Scratch day yesterday busy at work today and for me it’s a less than inspiring set of games so taking the day off
