Bit like the weather slow start for me yesterday ended up with a 1pt loss.

1pt loss on Kvitova and Rybakina games - Kvitova I backed after she lost the first set to Stephens, never expected her to lose but it was relatively easy. The Rybakina game against Mladenovic I expected a close 3 setter with a ton of breaks but Rybakina won fairly easily. Unless Mladenovic can sort her serve out she is rapidly going to slip down the rankings. At least she is back playing doubles with Babos this week.

Got a point back on Boulter winning the second set after losing the first - she eventually won the match is embarrassingly likely to be the only British woman through to the second round after Heather Watson's emnbarrassing loss. There's another player who is due a rapid drop down the rankings unless she sorts her game and attitide out.

A few interesting games today weather permitting but one that stands out for me is Cornet v sicknote Andreescu.

Cornet is usually a player I look to oppose at every opportunity but I actually think she is favourite here. Although Andreescu is the better player, she is only proven on hard courts and I don't think she can cope with clay or grass at the minute. Should be a three setter with tons of breaks as both are pretty awful servers.

Djok got broken if draper can hold out. Be good value trade. Wouldn't be a great reward but a few more that what was on offer at the beginning

Was worth backing djok in the last game of the first set wasn't meant to be.

One trade for me and one missed trade.

    Medvedev second set winner. +3.64
Was lined up @1.09 for a lay in second set on sonego he never got there went lowest at 1.1 before saving his serve in the second

I've been using Martin's lay the winner of the first set filter (tracking at moments)

Can't wait for Wimbledon to start. To start my tennis trading again this year. I have a few things I want to see if it works for future.

Has many used the winner of first set market? Thinking about a set and forget strat long term as it's hard to get on a lot with the working schedule.

I'm having the same problems with work schedules, looking forward to the tournaments in the US after Wimbledon leading up to US Open which should be in the evenings in UK.

Don't have anything set and forget for tennis I'm afraid.

Finally had the opportunity to trade some games today with no play in Hamburg traded three of the four Eastbourne QF's for 1.5pts profit

All three matches we're a bit wild with numerous breaks all over the place.

Scratch on the Kontaveit game, made most of the profit backing Sabalenka after losing the first set to Giorgi who seems to be playing better of late which wouldn't be difficult. Sab took the second easily. I exited at that point after one of the commentators made the point that Sabalenka's record in deciding sets this year was 4-8, which is now 4-9.

Further half a point profit from the second set of the Ostapenko game.

I believe the Wimbledon draws should be out tomorrow. Ubnfortunately Dominic Tiem followed Nadal and OSaka in pulling out which was not a surprise after injuring his wrist earlier this week.

    Nadal out of Wimbledon.
Djokovic was 2.08 market now suspended I wonder what that will do to his odds I’m thinking now he’s gotta be odds on.

Almost an auto lay at odds on I would think. Not saying he won't win it but that price before a ball is struck?

@james-woodroffe can’t see there being any other way they can go with the odds right now for the men’s tournament.

For the women who knows might be just as easy to pick a winner out of a hat

Andresscu Breaked back into the second set. took the red out then she holds tried 4 times (6 in total after that) to cash out but to no avail. no loss but would have been a small green. Hate betfair when this happens. I really should of loaded up racing traders that i have but was only trading for a few minutes so didnt think i needed to
