I was looking at a strat to lay the favourite 1.2 or lower and cash out after first set but I didn't track it long enough.
-
Yeah I also look at odds before match. But if the player struggles to get a break chance then I find next set they might struggle again.
-
@andrew-camp Wish I'd layed Alex at 1.15 pre but never mind
-
@chris-osborne She was available to back at 8.2 before the off.
-
Alexandrova loses 1st set to World Ranked 317 who I've never heard of - American wild card Elina Kalivineva

On lay the first set winner I look at how many break chances there's been in the stats. If there been a a couple then I will go in into the second set.
Thats fair - I approach it slightly differently if an underdog usually in terms of odds at start of match or my perceived underdog wins the first set I will lay them also if the first set is close I will lay them such as MArtic match currently
Not big on inplay stats in tennis or football to be honest

@andrew-camp I do the same using Tennis24
-
I have a live score site on one of my screens which has a much smaller delay. The TV is on so I can get an idea of how the game is actually being played.
-
If in the UK Amazon Prime are covering but watch out for the delay
-
@chris-osborne Thank you lay the first set seems to be a good place to start with Tennis trading from what I have seen so far

Hi everyone, I am very new to tennis trading but keen to try and widen my trading net so to speak, do any of you post your trades on the forum over the course of the evening?
My List is similar to Andrew's. If you look further down, I posted a few extracts from the Tennis stats which will be a guide
As a starting point look at laying first set winner if the underdog wins the first

Hi. I will be looking to lay the first set winner on this list of games but only if the set winner's odds are below 1.5, which they often are. I will be looking to get out of the trade sometime during the second set. I will only trade on games I can watch on Amazon Prime so I can assess performances of both players.

@andrew-camp Singles tie breaks are always to 7
Doubles final set will be a tie break to 10
Australian Open singles final set tie-breaks were to 10 but I assume that's just for grand slams.
Not sure on that each slam has its own rules - France and Wimbledon there are no Final set tie breaks I thought Australis was to 7 - US OPen is definitely to 7 - didnt watch much of Australia
