2022 Tennis Trading Thread

@david-reid Hi,
Nope if the score goes to 4-4 I stay in the trade and don't do anything else, I will make a judgement on my exit - usually if the player breaks I will remove my liability which has then given me some green to play around with in the match.
Works on ATP and WTA, the premise behind it is that how many time have you seen a top player effectively write off the first set then come back firing set 2? it happens a fair bit, but this gives us a good low risk lay and then some green to play with - or you can hedge out.
-
@ryan-carruthers if it is 3-3 and you lay the fav, if it goes 4-4 do You lay the fav again?
Do you exit trade when:
- Either player breaks
- It goes to a tiebreak
- Only when set completed
Assuming this works better in wta?

Dimitrov has drifted pretty significantly (1.4 to 1.55). Injury fears perhaps? Obviously his previous 5-setter will have taken a bit out of him. Tempted to lay him from the start and close off if he gets broken early on - partly to insure against my outright position on him, which has drifted from 12.5 to 19! Any other Dimitrov backers feel the same?
Broken immediately. Traded out at 1.9. Left the green on Rublev to cover my Dimitrov outright position.

Tomorrow's sheet guys!
I am going to be adding to this making it smoother as the stats software is tested out etc...
-
Wawra is playing and losing to a guy called Tennys! Can't believe this though:
'Although Tennys Sandgren is a tennis player from Tennessee, he is actually named after his great-grandfather who did not play tennis and was not from Tennessee.'

Some results which I wasn't expecting......
Konta out!
Maria is majorly impressing me, she's so fired up.
Zverev is a real talent as well!
Bouchard is so poor! lol
