@simon Yep stick to ATP 250 buddy, don't be wiping out profits - might be worth just a data track exercise on them for others just to confirm - but it's also getting close to a strange part of the season, winding it down now.

Tomorrow’s lays:
Chung (1000)
Gasquet (1000)
De Minaur (1000)
Edmund (1000)
Kukushkin (1000)Paire removed as his opponent has big injury concerns
ANOTHER losing day on these! Getting hard to take this, reckon I’m going to park them for now and only use this strategy for ATP 250 events as it’s starting to become too expensive. Last months profits all wiped out already!

Rest of today’s lays:
Simon (1000)
Kyrgios (1000)Interesting day on the lays, all 4 trades lost but 3 of 4 straight lays won. I didn’t place any straight lays!! However I think this bodes well, it’s not often the trade loses and the straight lay wins, so hoping this will turn around tomorrow.

2 early morning lays for tomorrow, will post the rest later tomorrow morning once I’ve researched them all. This is a masters event and a bit of an unknown so I’ll be halving stakes. However I posted an article in here a while ago with data showing the masters events where favourite’s get beaten more often than expected, and Shanghai was one of them. The others were Paris and Cincinnati:
Fucsovics (1000)
Tiafoe (1000) -

Today’s lays:
Fognini (500)
Edmund (500)
Nishikori (500)3 losers again today, with it being a bad week up to now I decided to avoid all of these thankfully. ATP 500 events currently -ve ROI so I’m going to avoid them for now, but continue to track as it may be tournament or surface specific. A masters next week which will be interesting, and then some 250’s to look forward to after that.
-
@ryan-carruthers yeah absolutely, want to build up as big a bank of data on these as possible. I have a hunch that certain tournaments may prove to be profitable and others not, like the results from Cincinnati and Toronto couldn’t be more different but they were both masters events on outdoor hardcourts. But will take a couple of years to prove this. Playing the long game!
-
@simon Very interesting, yep I would track them as well then you have the data for them to confirm just incase they come back and they might just come back in.

@simon Whats the updated P/L on these buddy?
@Ryan-Carruthers 5% ROI total trading ATP 250, 500, 1000. No slams included. Of this ATP 500 is -1.75%. The masters events are just above 0% (they’re have only been 2, Toronto was a disaster and Cincinnati was a gold mine) so these may need to be monitored on a tournament by tournament basis. ATP 250 flying high at 11%.
So thinking I may leave ATP 500 events alone for the time being and continue to track in case they take an up turn in fortune.

3 lays today:
Fucsovics (500)
Fognini (500)
Verdasco (500)Another poor day. I only traded the Fognini game which was a loss as didn’t see value in the other 2.
